Can't seem to find this anywhere anymore and it made a nice side for quick dinners.

There was a period of time where lime flavored Skittles were replaced with green apple, I think it happened around 2007-2009, and lasted for a while. I have not forgiven Skittles for doing that. Lime was a great fucking flavor. I think they caved and brought it back, but I still refuse to buy Skittles because of that. I genuinely still hold this grudge. I just fucking love limes, bros.

ust tasted like uncarbonated Pepsi, which is kinda gross...
The ones I had were more like lightly carbonated, which I prefer to a nose full of carbon dioxide bubbles. They were too sugary to be drinking all the time, but sometimes on a hot day an ice cold soda hit the spot.

It was just officially discontinued, but it got harder and harder to find over the past few years. It had a widget in the bottom like a can of Guinness, with a smooth fizz and small bubbles.
I just was able to get that at the convenience store about a month ago. I thought it was mostly exclusive to c-stores.

It was excellent. Very smooth.

They did that *briefly* in 2001 but we had green apple Skittles for like a decade. Green apple fucking sucks, and I remember as a 9-year-old how popping a green and yellow Skittle in my mouth tasted vile instead of the citrusy lemon/lime goodness it once was.

Not really discontinued, but when i was a kid Costco used to sell mrs fields cookies as an import, and I'd usually get a box when we went to there, but eventually they stopped selling them and i wouldn't get the chance to eat them, at least not until recently where a local import market had a box of them, and i decide to try them out for old times sake, and not only did they not live up to the nostalgia, they tasted like ASS. They were stale and hard despite the "soft baked" label on the box, and they tasted salty as fuck, like they added too much baking soda or something, and the worst part is that they weren't past the expiration date, nor was the package broken in any way whatsoever. So yeah, although these cookies are not discontinued, the ones i enjoyed in my childhood sure as hell are.

Let me tell you a story about a Ninja Turtle Pies. They were like those fruit pies Hostess used to make. But instead of fruit they had this yellow pudding inside of them. The outside had this green crunchy candy like coating. I used to eat them when I was a kid in the very early 90's. They stopped selling them pretty early on. I don't remember seeing them at all when Jurassic Park hit theaters. I was 8 years old then. They were discontinued sometime in the early 90's. They were probably available from 1988 to about 1991 maybe 1992.

In the early 2000's I signed a petition I found online to bring them back. Clearly this never worked because I am 40 now and have yet to see a single fucking Ninja Turtle pie. I saw plenty of sad shitty homemade versions online though from the early to mid 2000's.

Also in the late 80's and early 90's Ore Ida used to make these hashbrowns that were formed into a rectangle, and they had cheese in them. I remember liking them as a kid and they were really freaking good. They stopped making them a long time ago.

Around the mid 90's a company called Ralston made Spiderman themed cereal. It was really good. It had these like Chex shaped things in them shaped like spider webs and it had those freeze-dried cereal marshmallows in it with a Spiderman theme. If it was still around today, I would probably buy a box every so often. Probably eat it while I play that Spiderman game that was on the PS4. I am sure soy types would probably ruin it though. Soylent grinning while holding the boxes in pictures all over social media.

The monte cristo sandwiches from Bennigans
The rice krispies treats cereal. Feel like this has been discontinued for 15+ years but after looking it up it says 2021

I decided to buy some Hot Pockets for the first time in a number of years, and was disappointed to find that the chicken, broccoli and cheese flavor is apparently not a thing anymore. Sure they were garbage, they're Hot Pockets, they all suck, but those were very slightly better.

Yeah, fuckers got rid of Lean Pockets and reduced the variety a lot.

I'm still mad about the chicken fajita Hot Pockets. I recently had the cheese pizza ones and they were alright for what they are. But it seems they got rid of all the really good flavors in favor of basic bitch ones. I'm gonna take a wild guess that they are cheaper to make and that's why. Hot Pockets have flattened significantly over the past 25 years. In addiction to the shrinkflation they've downsized the variety. They aren't worth it at all unless they are on sale.

Can you still get the pretzel crust? Or did those get axed as well?

Not necessarily discontinued, but I'm currently drinking a limited edition Christmas Home Alone IP coffee creamer I bought on sale.

I find the Home Alone branding fascinating.

First off, Home Alone is a 30 year old IP.

Secondly, it's only nominally a Christmas movie.

Thirdly, they've gone with a cartoon version I've never heard of. The toon Kevin McAllister reminds of the outdated Dennis the Menace branding in the 90s that Dairy Queen used to print on their Blizzard cups.

Lastly, who at International Delight believes that spending money on a Home Alone Christmas crossover is going to sell more coffee creamer?

They must be appealing to boomers like the strange 50 year old franchise IPs they stick on slot machines in casinos.
