Joss Whedon's entire schtick is zingers. He could never come up with a hilarious scenario like a tired dude making chocolate pudding at 4 AM to satisfy a spoiled child. Even his comedy series like Dr. Horrible had straightforward premises.
In the 90s, pre-marvel era, Whedon’s stuff hit. It was subversive for the time and felt unique. Going back to it now would probably age all that shit horribly. I’ll keep it in the past.

Protester says he is “doing some ethnic cleansing” as he drags what is supposed to be President Trump by a noose and Elon Musk and Vladimir Putin attached to it.

He explains what this means, suggesting that it is supposed to be President Trump. When he was asked why he chose a noose, he said “Well, you gotta pull by something.”

Illegals don't have rights in this country because they're non citizens, you fucking moron.
They do have rights, the basic human rights that attach to humanity. They don't have the specific privileges and protections of citizens. That includes:

  • a lot of due process stuff that our Founders invented out of anger for what the British had done
  • exercising sovereign power (voting, sitting as a juror, protesting or petitioning government, etc)
  • accessing welfare or government services tied to an individual level (schools or hospital slots), although they get access to things open to the general public (parks, waterways, etc)
  • driver's licenses, since driving a motor vehicle is a privilege. (freedom of movement is a fundamental human right but states have a strong interest in limiting or regulating it)
  • any other benefit a government provides to its citizens, which is way more a part of your life than many realize
So you can arrest, deport, and restrict illegals in a number of ways citizens would never accept from their government. You can't indiscriminately kill, imprison, torture, enslave, or otherwise dehumanize them.

The big lie the left has claimed, the massive Overton window shift that the right has yet to fully push back, is that international concepts like asylum, refugee relief, and migration are part of those basic human rights. They aren't. They're legal constructs attempting to formalize and facilitate the movement of humans that happen every day of recorded human history, and have the potential to destabilize the countries debating these concepts.

Are they allowed to say otherwise?
Multiple Euro countries have voted emphatically against censorship only for their government to either ignore them because they voted wrong and implement it anyway or they keep trying it over and over hoping to sneak it in under a different name or as part of something else
it's all the same shit with the same conflicts of interest and profiteering by tthe exact same types of people the US has been dealing with

I'm not worried about mine. As a recipient, I've wanted this to happen for YEARS now.
hey, fatty fat 38 year old sitting at home somewhere in the bible belt and collecting checks, haven't you had enough power leveling for this week? watch some food prep videos and calm down

the only thing sadder than someone shopping at Staples in 2025 is someone working at Staples in 2025

It's just part and parcel of the annihilation of nations. True neoliberalism, and eventual neofeudalism, can only be achieved by erasing any form of unified identity holding nations together. Multiculturalism is necessary to inflict colonial minority-rule politics on previously unified countries.

I think Elon should post who the 240 yo person and 360 yo person is :)
Would be cool to see who they were.
I'm curious too, but that would actually be a data breach of sensitive citizen data, the kind the Democrats are screeching about. Best not to give them ammo for no gain.

He should just kick the list over to the SSA (or wherever the fraud office lives) and demand they handle it. Run the same query in 2-3 months and threaten layoffs if it isn't resolved speedily.

Therein lies the problem with people telling illegals to act like ICE is coming to "their house." Illegals are in our house. If I decided to traipse on over to the governor's house and declare myself an undocumented whatever, I'd be trespassed, arrested, or even shot for daring to inconvenience a privileged individual. Illegals are trespassers pretending they aren't. They don't belong here and make life worse for everyone else. I can't kill you indiscriminately, but that doesn't give you the right to take advantage of me. You coming to my house and imposing yourself on me, demanding I pay for you, is not a human right. Fuck off.

Hundreds of people outside the Capitol are protesting Elon Musk and President Trump. This protest is allegedly organized by the Women’s March called “NOT MY PRESIDENT - No Kings In America National Action.”
