S3 died with Mizzy and Simbal. In comparison, s3's collapse was so much later in the season than s2's collapse that it's not even a fair comparison. It's still pretty shocking that the wiggers kept s3 rolling along so well for so long.
Mizzy the last likable female fish got voted off day 27, the Brandon pedophile shit and everyone defending him happened day 29 and then Simbal the season antagonist was voted off day 30. It was just hit after hit after hit until the season was fully beyond repair.

FamousHouse 2.0 had a few highlights the return of Luke, the Simbal elimination, BURT's interaction with the fake fish, and amnesia Burt.

I think it suffered due to casting and timing. Too many women. Famous House became a longhouse and as such the Brandon shit got excused way too quickly. The other problem is that the cast were people who were more than willing to spend Thanksgiving on a reality show. Probably led to a massive overrepresentation of whores.

BURT's interaction with the fake fish
I thought this was one of the worst parts honestly. He just immediately started being a weird sex-pest and not even in a funny way, nobody had a funny reaction to him it was just a "what is wrong with this guy" type of reaction hoping that the conversation would end. Then he became totally buck broken when Toni beat him in boxing, his voice literally became weaker and he went and cried in the tub. It wasn't until Alex Stein came that Burt was entertaining in FH 2.

I'm a Burt fan but this is true. The intial interactions between the new fish and Burt was just really awkward. Like "this guy is a freak stay away from me" type shit (which to be fair is likely how I would react to). The stuff with Alex Stein on the other hand made me cry laughing. See I don't get how people can say the whole show was ruined when we were still getting moments like this on day 30:
That's why to me it was 4 great weeks not 3.

S2 died with Summer, JC, and Cole. There was no saving the show after losing them. Even the edits have a massive quality drop after Cole left and it's been fucking boring, I've just been waiting for the episodes with the mallet incident and Frank's arrival at this point.

S3 died with Mizzy and Simbal. In comparison, s3's collapse was so much later in the season than s2's collapse that it's not even a fair comparison. It's still pretty shocking that the wiggers kept s3 rolling along so well for so long.
I think both seasons are similar in that they had a key elimination that could theoretically been recovered from, but the wiggers just couldn’t handle it. Losing Cole and Alex were both “oh fuck things are going to get real bad for a bit,” moments, but they still had some resources to recover. Season two probably could’ve focused more on utilizing Brian to fill a new villain role and honing in on Jimmy spergouts and gaslighting and it might have recovered, but they didn’t and the show went to shit.

Same with losing Alex in season three. Everyone knew things were going to go to shit, but if Production played their cards right things wouldn’t have been as bad and the show might have survived. Instead they heavily invested into Famous House 2.0 without actually prepping themselves for it. They lost their heel in Simbal and none of the Fish were prepped. Five days of cleaning nontent for three days of some decent content that imo never surpassed the quality of the first three weeks. That’s just a bad trade off.

A wise man once said that rushing decisions leads to mistakes in a given Fishtank season. If only this was learned from.

Alex Stein was the highlight of the final two weeks, this was his best performance so far. When he returned in Vegas his super dry delivery of how he lost the grand prize money had me in pain from laughing.
When Burt was having a meltdown and they kept delivering donuts to him and he was just explaining the Balldo stuff was funny as fuck.

I don't believe I'm saying this but RVTank 2.0 was slightly better than Jet's RVTank.
I only tuned into it a little bit but i saw that every bar Jon took them to including the first one they went to which was his favorite bar, were super boring family friendly sports bars, and everyone with him loudly complained how bored they where and how much the bars sucked. There also where a couple pretty kino interactions with drunks that i saw, one guy who went on a several minute rant on how beautiful they all where and he loved them.
Mac aka xskulleezx (the guy with the ski mask) when on to reveal some behind the scene stuff to the chat. I was able to gather a couple of interesting things about the behind the scene of ADL.
Mac actually seems like an OK guy from what I've seen, i see Bleau and Jon just shitting on everyone and bossing them around but he seems to be playing the good cop, there was a very short section where Jon was trying to get a drunk Augustine to fight Mary jane, and him and Arachelle thought they were not on the live cam, and she was complaining to him that that people where stealing gems and that the whole gem system was broken since Jon just gave a million to the people he liked and took them away from people he didnt (the women). He essentially just told her Jon broke the whole system by not following the rules he laid out for it and being a retard so they had to remove it.

losing Alex in season three. Everyone knew things were going to go to shit
I disagree. Alex was a great fish while he lasted but his days were numbered after the ogre incident. He was completely tainted to me after that and I was ready for him to be eliminated, he just had to go. With a typical season cast losing someone like Alex would have been more devastating since there's usually only two fish in the cast that keeps things going but s3 had a very strong cast and they still had Burt, Simbal, and Mizzy to keep thing rolling and they did successfully keep things entertaining. There really wasn't a quality drop after Alex left, the quality drop was later after losing the other content makers listed above back to back.

Brandon effectively killed the momentum Season 3 had because it ruined the FH2.0 gag before it ever had a chance to get off the ground. Really a shame because it could have possibly been good.
Absolutely, Brandon really killed any remaining goodwill the majority of the audience had for the Fish (except Luke). Sam was also demoralized by their reaction to him.

The Brandon shits among the most uncomfortable moments in FT history

Luke sitting in the living room like “this dude is a fucking pedophile” and everyone was just like “….i mean its not the worse thing in the world” is one of few times ive actually gotten genuinely viscerally angry over something fishtank related

Worst part, there were people in this thread defending some of the fish as just "playing the game" when they were defending the pedo.

Huge respect to Luke for being the only person in the house with actual integrity the Brandon night even though it made everyone in the tank dislike him. He’s a real one. To be in a situation like that and say “No it’s not fucking okay to make a drag costume for a child name lactatia” Took guts. Social pressure is incredibly strong. It’s easy for us as the passive viewer to say “of course I would have done that!” But to be there and do it is a whole different thing.

I would've come off more deranged than Luke, probably wouldn't have been able to convince people either. The arrogance of Brandon would've astounded me and I would've felt what I assume Sam did - fervent need to beat that fag to death.

I'm probably alone in thinking this in this thread but I really enjoyed everything up until the Brandon night on day 29. That was the big vibe shift where I started disliking most of the cast and when Sam seemed to check out from the show. I never really minded the "chill" days season 1 and 2 had plenty.
i agree , the brandon thing is where shit turned sour, i really hope the rumors of sam intentionally inviting brandon in, knowing his past, for a "owning the libs" bit, aren't true that would be fucked up and completely ruin any of the little respect people still have for him.
