This is some Greer-level writing style. Someone please check on Hardin, he's getting infected from too much contact with retardation.

Eh, this is fine. He's been known to get a little carried away with his prose at times, and judges get tired of it (see the Melinda case for example).

Greer spat at Null's face. No good deed unpunished and all that

Greer wrote a motion so retarded, not only did he fail to cite the authority for it, but it kicked off a chain of events ending with him owing more money than he was trying to get. Peak paralegal maneuvering.

Also: BOOOOO Hardin, don't give Greer hints! Let him file and get slapped down! Didn't you read Null's warning in the thread?

I think Greer thinks that he can keep this entire lawsuit private and prevent us from laughing at him with the protective order. Don't bring a lawsuit unless you are open to public scrutiny. People laughing at how much of a retard you are is not a valid excuse for a protective order.

Another case of Greer finding something that exists for a specific purpose, imagining it works a certain way and misapplying it.

No I think Hardin is adapting to the style the Judge likes. The judge is probably sick and tired of this shit and doesn't want to read through a 10-page filing detailing everything Greer did wrong. Hardin has his rock and his hard place and he is using them against the tard.

The only question is: Will the court do what it is supposed to?

My view is the court is playing this by the book so that there can be no argument for any appeal down the track. I know everyone sees it as the court helping him, but I think they are helping themselves.
I think that's part of it, but while I hate to sign on to pure black pill shit, I am seriously getting the impression of "process is the punishment" thing. They know this isn't a legit case but are punishing the site because of moral disapproval.

While I don't generally expect top-notch intellectual property jurisprudence from the Tenth Circuit, I doubt you'd ever see a case this ridiculous out of the Ninth. For one thing, Hollywood and Silicon Valley kind of depend on coherent intellectual property law and the precedential decision in this case is fucking unintelligible gibberish.

Throw in that the panel overtly expressed animus toward the site in dicta that were absolutely irrelevant to the actual issue being litigated, and then the panel essentially rewrote Russhole's complaint for him.

It's a testament to Russhole's absolute idiocy that he somehow managed to get himself sanctioned, after years of utterly vexatious litigation, and even then the judge gave him a reacharound.
We’ve followed Russ and know he’s a gross weirdo. Unfortunately Hardin is constrained by what evidence he can bring in and I don’t think he can go off on how Russ is weird and creepy to women since this is nominally a copyright case.
And the literal title of the copyright the suit is about is weird and creepy.

The title is literally about a weird creepy guy who sues female celebrities for not sucking him his penis and how his reputation is that of a creepy vexatious litigant creep.

Did Russell just agree to pay the 774.75?

Maybe it's just a matter of pride that he will pay $$$ but not $$$$
I don't think he was necessarily agreeing. More like he was confirming the amount that was acceptable to Hardin, not that he would actually pay it.

I am waiting for bated breath for Russ' next filing. I'm 50/50 on whether or not he will just stop putting in filings and try to abandon this. He's acting more and more like a trapped wounded animal. His ploy with the CONFIDENTIAL email crap is gonna get his pee-pee whacked by the court hopefully. Just how painful the whacking will be remains to be seen. You can't just decide to make everything private because you don't like people laughing at you. It's for specifically sensitive information about OTHER PEOPLE or things that will offend sensibilities, like talking about his fap sessions to Null or something like that.

Gimmie rainbows though. I know this is just gonna be the judge coming down on Hardin or something like that. Sigh.

Now comes the plaintiff

See, they don't actually need money! They agreed to the lower amount! I'm not paying them at all, they owe me more money actually! Sanction Hardin now!

"When plaintiff wins this case, defendants will owe eleventy billion dollars, so the judgement for plaintiff to pay is moot!"

Checkmate, hardship.

Alternatively:

"They had people donate six figures and poor retard plaintiff is IFP and can't afford blowies anymore, so the judgement should be undone. Also defendants are wasting my time defending themselves so they should actually pay me money."

Greer is like a schoolyard bully that finally gets punched by the fat kid he's been picking on and then runs crying to the teacher.

Then again, we live in bizarro world so maybe Hardin can introduce Russell’s thread into evidence under the rules of shut up, we’re doing this now. “Members of the jury, we recommend hitting the highlights button to get through things.”
If Russ tries to hinge his case on the character of the defendant or defendants website cant Hardin also introduce evidence of Russels character?
