Well, Covid could’ve been worse. They were probably actively trying to make it worse when it escaped.

But yeah, there’s a track in our government, let’s say it overlaps with the people who thought it would be a good idea to airdrop $1.4 billion in cash on pallets to Iran, which is devotedly undermining the United States.

Near as I can tell, Russia hasn't done shit to us aside from trolling the Democrats in thinking they were fucking with our elections (who honestly believed that particular bullshit anyway?), so yeah. I mean, I don't trust Russia as far as I can throw them, but I'd rather be allied with them than fuckin' China.

I hope that Elon Musk finds all the zombie loans at the Department of Education. I'm going for Round 3 on a loan that was paid off during Covid. The system can't fucking handle it because the Biden Administration gave everyone forbearances because of Covid, but I was so close to paying it off, I refused the forbearance and kept paying. I got the final release on it, but when everybody else's forbearance ran out, I got a bill. For $0. Due in 2035.

I sent in a copy of the release paperwork to the DOE. Now we're in the "Who are you? What loan? Oh yeah, never got your paperwork, could you send it again?" phase of the process, which lasted SEVEN YEARS last time (different loan). I believe the DOE keeps these loans in the books to inflate their assets on paper. Maybe there's nobody there that's smart enough to fix it. Hopefully Musk will find all these "$0 due" loans and can fix it.
