A lot of crypto people seem to be either tired or disgusted by "the memecoin meta" and it has reached the point where something that was just a bit of "harmless fun" has turned into an industry with little vultures everywhere trying to exploit shit.

I can attest to this partially. Never a cryptobro or ever touched twitter, but I've made a decent amount on crypto over the years.
With the amount of time I ferment my brain on internet sludge daily, I know I could have made far more by knowing what memeshit to get into early, but I can't handle the idea of telling my accountant I got wiped on baby gronk token because George Droyd pumped first.
Getting goddamn heads of state involved in rugpulls is a step too far.

I would take the whole bribe thing with a pinch of salt for several reasons:
- The opposition is desperate to turn this into their big opportunity to hurt Milei
- his sister keeps a low profile but is always besides him and helped him a lot during his campaign, so she is the target of rumors. The whole thing about her sister charging money for interviews or meetings with Milei seems to have come from a book written by a friend of his opposing candidate and release right before the elections.
- The redhead cryptobro is a lying faggot

On the last point: Milei and his sister have sued or threatened to do so against people who went too far with the smearing, even making a journalist apologize on live TV. So once the scandal cools down a little he might attempt to sue the redhead IF he did lie about the bribes and other stuff, or maybe not since he is not argentinean and trying to sue may be far more effort than what is worth.

One last thing: argentine stocks did recover today, despite all the doomsaying spread over sunday and monday.

$20m would probably be a bribe to do something, if you're paying $5m just to get in the door then he was probably given a bunch of tokens from the memecoin and additional payments. It kind of depends what industry it is in (like healthcare/software/military likely involves large kickbacks for approving certain contracts). I love your enthusiasm (: it certainly won't kill crypto but it can have a downturn on the market for several years. It's really hard to say. Given the current world economic climate as well as the general downsizing trend in tech jobs in general it's a pretty bad time for there to be a downturn regardless.
Crypto will of course still function as it always does but what does suck about leeches like this zoomer faggot and SBF is that the downturns they cause end up putting honest people out of jobs and kill otherwise promising projects - they also dominate the news cycle so much to begin with (even before they turn out to be frauds) that it makes it near impossible for anyone to stand a chance of success unless they're also dishonest.
