That criticism of Jim-where he tells him to actually work to make substantive changes-is funny because Jim just sits on his fart couch all day and night. Telling Jim to do anything more than the lowest effort shit is a brutal insult to Jim. His entire career has been about doing the least work possible and trying to make it look like he’s giving 110%. Most important of all is that Jim nerds it to be convincing to others that he has skills well-beyond most people…in addition to giving 110%.
You see this leak out a bit when he posts about the time and effort he’s put into “exposing” the cabal. He gives a day count, and sometimes hours, to convince everyone that he’s working hard. It is a large part of his conman personality.
For me, Jim’s low effort everything is interesting. He’s the guy at your job who is a pay grade above you, is totally incompetent, and generally full of shit on everything. Everyone wonders why or how he got there (he’s a conman obviously) But Jim is convinced that he can lead a cultural revolution by copying the failed formula of tweeting non-stop and being provocative with boomers. Jim refuses to get off his couch even when, according to him, the country is being destroyed and rebuilt as a fascist dictatorship. Liberals will be put into death camps.
If he really believed 1% of his own bullshit he’d be posting selfie vids of him leading protests (even if he was by himself). He’d be flying to DC and trying to meet with elected reps. Etc

You just don’t get Jim’s brilliant sense of humor. This is why he was so successful in creative endeavors. He’s been a “writer” his entire life. Have you seen his blog, Mind-War? It’s full of terms that are so creative that the world just isn’t ready for it.
He’s explained some of it before on his prodcast and once said

Jim understands that we can never understand so he makes it very simple for us. The formula is simple: trust the plan, give Jim money, and retweet the genius. All Napoleons are the same and they’re interchangeable.

Oh yeah, Jim thinks he was the one and only guy that was about to save America and no one will give him credit. He’s so unbelievably full of himself.
Jim is using the 2010 Blogger tactic. This is how almost everyone talked back then. It’s another artifact that reveals who gave him his style and strategy (along with some empty Twitter accounts to put likes and retweets on his posts). Rauhauser was one of the people absolutely absorbed into the 2010s blog explosion. Back then, you could do this all day every day without ever saying anything of substance and still make it on cable news. Matter of fact, you didn’t even have to say anything true back then. So Jim’s frustration is real. He’s seen this tactic work for others that Rauhauser helped get popular (Caroline Orr/@ RVAWonk is one of them). There’s great audio of some older school hacker types on a podcast (Vince in the Bay) with Rauhauser and they’re just clowning on him the whole time. But he makes made up stolen election claims and rather than produce any evidence for this, he just keeps saying that “the blogs have it now, so…” insinuating that his bullshit will get traction because blogs were able to do that back then.
For Jim, it’s not working. He’s actually lost popularity since adopting this tactic. No more TedX talks, no more anti-extremist non profit play. It’s all washing away a little more each day.
Elon adding view counters to tweets did so much damage to Jim and it’s glorious. Prior to that people would see 100 retweets and 200 likes on a Jim post and immediately repost it thinking it must be right and important and that they should be as early as possible to get it to their followers. Now, they see the likes and retweets climbing and no views. And they won’t risk it. Plus, once he stopped penetrating the left circles they started to look deeper and backed away. Jim’s best ally is Jackie Singh and she’s a fucking clown who spends all day on sock accounts trying to counter even the most minor criticism. (Jim does this too but not like her).
The only hope for Jim to get any sort of revival is for him to be sued by a new, high profile individual. If he doesn’t, it’s fucking over. (Well, it’s over either way but he’ll hold on longer if he gets a new bump in exposure)

It’s a term that’s taken on a life of its own in the last year. And since Elon fucked with Twitter’s search ability, it’s very hard to go back and find tweets from 2016-2017. But I distinctly remember this because it was so corny. And at the time I was in an all-out flame war with Mensch. We’re on good terms now (long story I won’t bother to waste kbs over)

Eric Garland, a Team Patriot figure and a retweet trying to gin up donations to Claude Taylor (TrueFactsStated) the head of the Mad Dog PAC, a group that collects donation so Claude can update and restore his replica Scooby Doo van. Well, there is still the Florida Supreme Court appeal that is still going on (it started on the 15th of last month). Considering this deals with the 1st Amendment, he could theoretically also appeal to SCOTUS, but it showed a distinct refusal to consider "Actual Malice" cases even where there's actual abuse by appellate and lower courts, so I don't think he'd bother if the Florida Supreme Court thing doesn't work out

That reminds me, I haven't done a write up on the last few or so Rad Pods because they're nowhere near as interesting as post election pill stream or the post inauguration cope stream. The few things of note are that one of the openers Jim's dress wearing gimp did was set to Liam Lynch's United States of Whatever BUT WAIT it's not just the song but the song as done on the MTV sock puppet show Sifl and Ollie.
And that's it. That's the best Jim amd crew have in their malaise. Hopefully his wife hides or eats all his drugs so he gets some energy back into his immunocompromised looking bones.
