There's a theory that Ian Johma was originally meant to be a part of this video. It came out a similar time to the garbage collab video they did with him. He'll get a garbage sonic tattoo drawn by a toddler, but he refuses the possibility of getting a chad Rowan Bean tattoo.

I really think they had expected it to be a big success. Like more typical big YouTuber charity streams, where they start with something like a 25k goal and smash it, and more Youtubers come in and hype grows, and they end up with 100k or more at the end. I think they secretly expected to make a lot more than 30k, and the fact that they didn't even reach that goal is beyond embarassing.

Edit: Especially since this was a stream. Not everyone can buy a ticket and travel, but everyone subscribed to Ian can see the stream and throw in some bucks, so it should make fundraising much easier. But that's only true when you have an engaged audience.

I think the idea is that Ian will get exhausted after punching the punching bag for so long but he has to keep doing it if he wants to get it to 0 hp. So the idea is to torture him by forcing him to punch a bag fot an extended period of time. Yeah... it's really dumb, isn't it? Not much entertainment there unless maybe it's someone who can act and keep an audience engaged and entertained for a very long period of time.

People don't enjoy watching Ian torture himself or get terrible tattoos though, at least not like this. People would maybe enjoy it more if it was Anisa torturing herself, because people HATE Anisa. I'm sorry if she's reading this, but it's true.

The yesterday was a shitshow from what I've seen from the clips. What was the idea behind this lame challenge? I thought they would punch a punch machine, which will show their "power level". It would be much more entertaining and somewhat more inline with the boxing event. Hell even a friendly sparring would be better entertainment, than what they did. Pretty sure this idea popped out on the spot. Ian totally lost any capability to make entertaining content and lost all creativity he had. It was more underwhelming, than I expected. I think it could have been fun as a novelty side-hustle during a real event like AGDQ; maybe have someone do the punching bag thing as an incentive while someone runs Punch-Out. In isolation, though, it's just boring.
