So Kirsche?
Actually, I'm betting it's more likely to happen on the left. 2 years is more than enough time for a larger indie with left leanings (that may or may not be super visible at this time) to decide that they want to be the Vtuber Hassan and be most of the way to making it happen.

The left flailing around for "their Joe Rogan" is conducive to this, and the shit fights and balkanization that would result will be unreal.

Not even hospitals.

You can get a Flu shot in basically every pharmacy in America (including CVS, Walgreens, Target, and Walmart). No point in having an awareness campaign when every major retailer in America is already doing it for you.
Not talked about very much, but would greatly appreciate if dental offices would stop pressuring people to get fluoride treatments done on their kids.

Americans already get too much fluoride (that’s the problem) without applying a concentrated treatment to children’s teeth.
No, will never consent to that and do not care if it’s free or if they even paid me.
There’s all sorts of insidious things that are pushed for a kickback.

...What the actual fuck
It's real

Argued with a friend about this, fairly certain we were arguing past each other.
His argument was that middle schoolers are already having sex, despite being told not to, so it's better to provide protection and avoid unwanted pregnancy and life-destroying consequence, as well as avoiding the taxpayer drain of unwanted pregnancies.
My argument was that providing condoms is condoning the action, making it seem more culturally acceptable and permitted by an authority figure.

Do schools even bother telling kids not to have sex anymore or am I in the wrong here?

I told a friend recently that Joe Rogan was already on the left and shit like covid and the dem policies of Biden made him wake up. He flipped and gave me the usual talking points of conspiracies and him talking to people on the right. I think the thing I hate most about what the left has done is how it's turned people into unthinking zombies. I've been told that for the sake of friendships people won't talk politics with me irl cuz I like Trump and "no matter what they send or say I don't move an inch over to the left" whoch i respect so i dont bother. They do not fucking stop though and I fucking hate the religious approach of conversion they take. You can't just have a normal political conversation anymore.

They've been so conditioned to think that government officials, teachers, and doctors/scientists and roles like that are morally good and completely infallible. The though of that being wrong shatters their reality and induces a psychopathy on them. They've destroyed friendships and families in a movie villainess grab for power and I hope they suffer for decades over it. Others have said it before but I can't see the left having someone even close to a Rogan for a generation. There's too many people that are too far gone and unless we have reeducation camps nothing will fix their toxic perception. Anyone still on the left is there for good.

Anymore? I wasn't aware they were doing that in the first place.

All I remember from every health class in school was "this is the penis, this is the vagina, penis goes in vagina, kid pops out of vagina". I'm paraphrasing of course, they went into great detail to talk about all the organs and what they do.

Only thing that MAY have prevented kids from having sex right away was when STDs were brought up but once they explained what a condom and dental dam was then everyone was like "oh lol nvm yay sex!"

In fact my senior year my health class was a mix of 11th and 12th graders, and this one bimbo from 11th grade was WELL known as the whore because she was dumb as rocks but was fucking fantastic looking with the nicest rack. One day she actually uttered the sentence "sex is a great workout and you can loose weight by doing it!". Everyone, including the teacher, just blank-stared at her. Even her friends got second-hand embarrassment and told her she was a fucking idiot.

how is one day of not buying stuff (if it even happens) make any difference from the other days of the year.:stress:

It's even more stupid when you stop to think about it. Either they stock up in advance and make additional purchases prior to the 28th that they would normally make at that time, or they buy whatever they didn't on the 28th sometime in March. Their net purchasing hasn't changed.

This accomplishes nothing, which is about par for the course as far as Redditors are concerned.

From October 28, 1990. I highly recommend everyone read this. It started before that, but it was gaining strength and spreading at that point. Marxism, faggots, Palestine, all the way down to the familiar refrain that white people don't have culture.
What this article highlights is how USELESS conservatives and libertarians have been for the past thirty years, literally zero cultural victories

Anecdote as a 24 y/o Zoomer: We were taught abstinence with the focus being on STDs and Pregnancy. They hammered it into us that no form of protection is guaranteed to work against STDs and Pregnancy, and that the only way to guarantee that you'll avoid those things is by not having sex.
That said, the unit put a lot of focus on the effectiveness of different types of Birth Control/Protection, which was basically saying "If you choose not to abstain, here's the next best options so that you don't get any unwanted complications" without actually saying it.

I was mostly just posting memes calling him a faggot and a retard. He wasn't posting any actual arguments so there wasn't anything to respond to. Then he gets angry and posts a grok answer proving his point (with a loaded prompt). I ask grok the same thing but with a neutral prompt and it says the opposite. I reply with that. He was saying the AfD is a Nazi party.
Engaging with dipshits like that is pointless. I learned that long ago. They will beat you down with the stupid stick until you can’t argue anymore.

How will Reddit survive? One day of not buying funko is disastrous for the predditor.

33 yo millenial, that's basically what I got. This is just one of those things that depends on how deeply blue your area is and if not blue, whether or not you're unlucky and activist whackjobs got into the district/school

Even if this does work, how will this in anyway convince normies that you are not crazy? Like not shopping for 24 hours, oh no how will companies survive. Like this just seems like cutting of your nose to spite your face.

I think they make them write down their sexual desires then explain kink to them and have them write down the kinks they want to try. Then they break them up into groups based on their replies have them talk about it.

"How Would You Feel If This Happened at Your Job? An Analogy for Federal Workers’ Struggles":
1740324022767.png
Edit: The title may be interpreted as disrespectful to non-Feds and allies …and this was NOT my intention. My intention is writing this was for an OTR driver/family member who genuinely asked what it felt like. Why was it different than years spent fighting overseas, in OEF/OIF, different than when I was private sector. I wrote it with a fantastical and hyperbolic theme because this is what it feels like.

Imagine you’ve spent 17 years as a truck driver for one of the most respected freight carriers in the country. You’ve worked your way up from grueling overnight hauls to earning a dedicated city-to-city bid, the kind of route only the most reliable drivers get. You’ve been awarded for safety, for efficiency, for going above and beyond. You know the roads like the back of your hand, and you take pride in keeping freight moving across America.

Then one day, everything changes. The company’s owner remarries, and his new wife, who has never even set foot inside a distribution center, let alone behind the wheel of a rig, starts making decisions. We will call her E. Lon Hubbard. E. Lon struts into the terminal like she owns the place, starts firing off emails about how the company is “bloated,” how too many drivers are “sitting around collecting paychecks,” and how trucking is “obsolete” now that automation is on the horizon. She doesn’t talk to drivers, she doesn’t ask what actually keeps freight moving …she just decides.

At first, it sounds ridiculous, like something that’ll blow over. But then the layoffs start. Drivers you’ve worked alongside for years, guys who trained you, guys you trained, start disappearing. No warning, no explanation. Just a call saying, “We’re making changes, we won’t be needing you anymore.”

Now, every morning when you clock in, you wonder if it’ll be your last. You only have 3 years until you reach your 20! The stress is unbearable. You used to sleep fine after a long haul, but now you stare at the ceiling, body exhausted but mind racing. What if I’m next? Your hands shake on the wheel, your thoughts wander at red lights. You’re making mistakes you never used to make. You just want to do your job, but your job is no longer safe.

Then she starts posting about you. Publicly.

On social media, she starts blasting truckers. “Do we really need this many drivers? All they do is block traffic and waste fuel. Lazy. Dead weight.” She says she wants to “streamline” this company, that “half of these guys could be cut and we wouldn’t even notice.”

And people eat it up. Millions of shares, hundreds of millions of likes. The public joins in.

Now, when you’re on the road, cars honk aggressively, flipping you off as they pass. You hear them yell: “Get off the road, trucker! You take up too much space with that stupid rig!” They don’t care that the goods they buy. Their groceries, their clothes, their medicine, only arrive because of you. You are now an inconvenience.

Even your safe spaces are gone. You pull into a terminal, somewhere that used to feel like home, and the atmosphere is tense. Guys whisper about who got cut that morning, who’s next. Everyone is watching their back.

At the truck stops—your refuge on long hauls—you’re met with stares instead of nods. Normal cars fill the pumps, their owners glaring at you, muttering about how truckers are ruining everything. “You should just quit,” one says, shoving past you at the checkout counter. “There’s too many of you anyway.”

You feel yourself shrinking. For almost two decades, you’ve done nothing but work hard. And now, somehow, you’ve become the enemy.

This is exactly what federal employees are living through. We are dedicated professionals, whether it’s securing the border, managing national parks, ensuring veterans get their healthcare, or protecting America’s infrastructure. But we are being dismantled from the inside by someone who doesn’t understand what we do and doesn’t care to learn.

We are watching our colleagues disappear. We are losing sleep from stress, wondering if today will be the day we’re locked out of our accounts and told we’re done. We are being humiliated in public, called lazy, useless, a drain on the system.

We are being pushed out, not because we failed, but because someone in power decided we were in the way.
