Yeah it's a real thing. And less crazy than you'd think. I found plenty of examples on the r/OCD reddit. Since OCD is more common in women, this type of OCD has some really unfortunate consequences. Some of the women I read of say they won't be having children because of it. I remember reading this one case where the OCD began postpartum and pretty much fucked the mother's ability to care for her newborn. OCD is real sad shit.

PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE TRIGGERED. As someone with ocd, I am very triggered by this and don’t want to spread anything bad to y’all.

Someone who I used to a consider a friend recently confessed to me that they have an addiction to child porn. They’ve in recent blamed undiagnosed OCD and BPD as to why they have these feelings.

They’ve been suspended from college after someone they told this to reported them.

They are currently in therapy over this. Their therapist knows, as well as their family.

This in turn has triggered my own OCD as I’m starting to convince myself that I’ll eventually get addicted to child porn as well. I am very uncomfortable with this person, and want to be unaffiliated with them.

Would I be wrong for unfriending this person?

hi, longtime supporter of nachochipu since the beginning. there are probably two instances that you could be referring to and i can explain both:

1- she had a falling out with her first vtuber friend group for being too candid about her mental health struggles. they painted it as suicide baiting to all their audiences when she was just uber autistic and being genuine about her feelings. they all agreed to take their posts down after it all went down.

2- a youtuber by the name of Stryker Dawson tricked her and several newbie vtubers into joining his "agency". he's an actual pedo by the way but the video covering it was taken down. after they all found out he lied and confronted him he attempted to cancel her with several bullshit videos trying to paint her in a bad light. theres a lot more that happened in this specific instance but i dont have the details on that

You guys need to make a private message group and share your finds there. Work together and only post your findings in the thread once it's archived. Don't post hints, don't post names, you go full glowie and only post once you have a proper set of archives and you have dug into each person's background and formatted it like an OP. They're going to be watching the thread and updating each other in Discord when you mention someone's name. You need to keep what you're looking secret from them until it's too late to delete things. Only invite people you know you can trust and don't let any one in your DM group you cannot trust. Work together on people of interest as you will have different skill sets and can find stuff others won't. Many of these people have a history of multiple accounts and connections to each other, working together you will find a lot more than posting solo in the thread.
