This whole video really weirds me out, there is a brief second where you can see in the POV camera the guy trying to aim with what seems to be a
semi-automatic rifle while the soldier was right in front of him, but it's as if he... hesitated.
Not only that, but when he was wounded, falling on the ground, he had multiple chances to try and aim again, maybe setting his rifle to fully automatic mode to rid the russian with as many bullets as possible, but he didn't. I guess he foolishly thought that the geneva conventions meant anything in this situation, that he and his friend could get out of this situation alive diplomatically, without needing to kill, which cost him his life and the life of his friend.
But what also weirds me out just as much is how the opposing soldier walks
alone into an open field, against two soldiers that carry
semi-auto weapons, armed with seemingly nothing but a pistol, with little to no regard for cover or for whether or not there are any other soldiers, snipers, drones or anything else that could easily kill him at a distance.
Jesus Christ, these people are all just teenagers, surviving off of nothing but instinct and adrenaline.
