I mean Tarl is like one of the most unsympathetic characters to try and white knight for, considering that he celebrated and even tastily took credit for someone committing suicide, beats the fuck out of women and smugly chuckles whenever anything bad happened to people he doesn’t like and claims he makes bad things happen with “chaos magic”.

One discrepancy that I noticed is that the live status has a different date - February 24th, 2025; at 11:39 PM. Null took their screenshot a little before 12:24 AM today, February 25th; 2025. That conforms to the live status and not the archive. I am not sure what this means. My intuition tells me that he deleted it and reposted it, or maybe put it temporarily in some sort of drafts folder. I don’t know because I don’t use Xitter.
Nevertheless, I decided to investigate to the best of my limited capacity. Basically, we have a few options, starting with my “maybe he toggled around something on Xitter” theory:
  1. Post Editing: If the original post was edited after it was published, the time of the last edit could be reflected in some archives, instead of the original posting time. Some archives may display this as the last modified time instead of the creation time.
  2. Time Zone Differences: The original post might have been made in a different time zone than where I’m viewing it or where the archive was made. Social media platforms and archives often adjust the time to the time zone of the user, which could create a discrepancy.
  3. Caching or Archive Delay: Sometimes, archives or cached versions of posts don't update in real-time. If the archive in question is from a previous snapshot of the post, the date and time shown might reflect when the post was first archived or indexed rather than when it was originally posted.
  4. Platform Time Adjustments: Social media platforms like Xitter may have internal adjustments to the timestamps, especially if the post was edited or if the platform had a downtime or server sync issue. In these cases, the original time might be adjusted or recorded differently in the archive.
All of this leads to me to conclude that the cause of the discrepancy is that the live post's timestamp is in EST (UTC−5). The archived version uses UTC (UTC+0). This 9-hour difference suggests that the archive is displaying the time in UTC, which is common for many systems to standardize timestamps. The discrepancy arises because the live post's timestamp is in EST, and the archived version is in UTC. Converting the archived time from UTC to EST (subtracting 5 hours) would align it with the live post's timestamp.

Notes on Targ’s mental state:
Suicide baiting and domestic (domestyx?) violence are related. When physical violence is not an available solution, emotional abuse (such as feigned suicides) is a textbook pathological response to rejection (archive of link attached below). Eric Harris famously did it when he got dumped:

Option A, sober up, drop the childish occult fixation, face your legal consequences like a man, and work a normal job instead of being eceleb. Life would be back on track in perhaps 5 years.
Option B, fucking kill yourself.

Of course the lolcow seriously considers the "easy way out." You'd think maybe it would be easier to just live a normal life? I guess being a respectable and accountable member of society is worse than death to some people.

I laugh at retards on the internet because it's funny. Not to impact them in any way. If they never find out I mocked them, that's fine. It's entirely for my own enjoyment and the enjoyment of my fellow autists.
