He's going to sperg out about a third term and the Republican primary is going to collapse because of it. Half of you retards are actually going to be supporting him. The other half are going to be sperging about the Constitution (that nobody even bothers to follow anymore), meanwhile the Democrats will solidify their candidate because they always fall in line even when they have an absolute retard like Kamala Harris running. Trump does not give one ounce of a shit about what happens if he's not in the Oval Office. He is not going to crown Vance as a successor. To him, Vance is just another useful idiot to obtain power.

I'm starting to think there is nothing left of the Federal Government WORTH trying to salvage. Can we just skip to the end and call an Article V convention. Just delete the whole thing and create something new. Borrowing useful bits from the old, and applying what we have learned to the new.

It might be hard to explain but in ye old days of between 2001 and say 2010 there was unironic ideal of getting along between races and stuff like Demoman was not seen as offensive, but as a funny joke. The piss take is making fun of Mutts with their 1/4th German heritage and their 3/8s Irish heritage. There was, how ever performative a genuine idea in culture and the media it produced at the time that. As people got into more and more contact with people of color and it went from earnest and performative to coerced and forced attitudes changed.

The thing about the Army Choir is cope in the first place. The choir sang a Les Misérables song because Trump has played songs from that musical at his rallies. He likely requested it, or at least signed off on the performance.

And if the choir was really doing it as a protest song, why did they perform a medley with the last half of One Day More, including the part where Javert sings about putting down the uprising? What's the choir's protest message supposed to be? "We are going to start a revolution, but we are also going to crush it"?

Most Redditors commenting on this likely haven't read Les Misérables or even seen the musical, and they imagine it as one-dimensional commie propaganda. In reality it's such a lasting work of fiction because it contains universal themes that appeal to all kinds of people. Trump and his loved ones might identify with Jean Valjean, or maybe they see the Deep State as the oppressive rulers, or maybe they just like the fucking music.
