To be fair, it was pretty split. Half of Reddit were pointing out his playschool-level understanding of transit, and the other half were hailing him as the One Good Billionaire who would save humanity.You seem to forget that Musk was reddit's hero before he bought twatter.
There are still some die-hards, but it's getting harder to ignore his lack of work ethic and a string of empty promises. He didn’t even deliver on popularizing EVs like he promised. Even Musk seems bored with Tesla—hence his backing of an administration pushing anti-EV policies. The whole thing served its purpose as a vehicle for self-promotion, and now it’s onto the next grift.
