The earliest mention I found of it is on one of LEP's wikis (yes he has multiple, though the other one is down) in 2016, which means he has been doing it FOR NEARLY 9 YEARS. He also made an urban dictionary for it in 2022. This is before most of the other characters in the Clown Rape Cinematic Universe existed.
It turns out that we are not the first to notice Funky The Clown. Someone that I don't think is a sock account uploaded this video in 2022.
In this video he mentions having many other characters, such as "James the Monkey", "Firebrand Pablo", Gradiaux Heidum, and "The real Mr Beast (Not even going to try to find this sock)".
It turns out that most of these aliases are part of another sock account names JTM Network. This channel started as a puppet channel called "Chef Pee Pee" which uploaded classics such as Bowser Junior says "nigger", caught on camera and Chef Pee Pee Rides a Roller Coaster. Now, as described in the channel's about section, "James The Monkey network is a brand run by James the Monkey, Gradiaux Heidum, Firebrand Pablo and many others to destroy modern technologies that harm humanity."

The Real Roblox Police (formerly Volendo tu Canopus) is a channel that started of as another fucking rant channel. It is now a character in the Clown Rape Cinematic Universe.
