Ok that's fair, but have you heard Trump talk about it? He said on Rogan that I think it was Milley was pushing some plan on him that they'd pull out the personnel and cede the territory, THEN get out the equipment. He's basically describing the Biden fiasco as a plan presented to him for the withdrawal. And we know his generals were pulling ratfuck games on him the first term. I 100% believe they planned most of the bullshit in order to make pulling out of a war look bad, and partially just out of spite. I could believe it at least would have gone better under Trump because he has the wits to spot obvious bullshit and push back unlike Biden, but I also believe they ratfucked Biden, and would have been trying to ratfuck Trump if he'd won 2020 and overseen the pullout.

biden was also the elected president, which means he's responsible as the commander in chief. bad decisions presented to him by generals that he accepted are bad decisions laid at his, and their, feet. if trump wouldn't have taken the ratfuck idea, or if he would have, i'll never know. but i know biden seems to have done so, and it got people killed, and so, SO MUCH materiel captured. it was a catastrophe, and if it were done with trump in office, even if he hated the idea, it would be blamed on him by the very people who defend biden and the afghanistan withdrawal.

Look, I don't disagree with any of that, I'm just saying the most concerning thing to me is that the "cream" that's floated to the top of our military has spoiled to the point you can't tell if they're morons or traitors. And that's a problem that doesn't go away no matter who you vote for, as long as they only try to work with and supervise it, rather than reform it.
