"Before the great Nelson Mandela fixed that" Yeah, because south Africa has really improved since apartheid.

Nelson Mandela is one of the most astroturffed fake "heros" in modern history.

I don't understand how turning the release of the Epstein files into a clown show where you don't actually release the files is some grand 4d chess move, it just makes Trump look retarded and guilty
The mess with the Epstein files doesn't so much make Trump look guilty as it makes Bondi, Patel and the rest look incompetent. Not sure I have much faith in people who can't even release files they were supposed to have had for ages now.

Or you know we could open up more abortion clinics in the ghetto, make abortions free for welfare leeches, assign all the anti natalist liberal teachers to ghetto schools and secretly use the social media to specially target anti natalism to socioeconomic people.
We already have that it's called Planned Parenthood. 85% of all PP clinics are within 5 miles of a "urban center " as the euphemistically call it.

People also completely overlook that, after Mandela took power, he did nothing to help regular people. He consolidated his political control, built up South Africa's military, and bombed the shit out of Lesotho.

The betrayal of the MAGA base is not going to go away by ignoring it.
I have to admit I knew they were gonna do this shit, but i never in my wildest fantasy imagined they would do it so blatantly.

I figured they'd pull a "oh the files were actually destroyed by the previous admin."

But to pull a fucking RICKROLL?

I. Am. Still. Flabbergasted. Bewildered. Damn near starstruck.

You guys are so buckbroken by bad presidents that you feel the need to immediately state that Biden was worse. Of course Biden was fucking worse, but that shouldn’t make Trump immune from criticism.
This is the big thing. I remember his first term and how that went to shit. Trump done a lot of things I never believed I see in the Federal Government, such as purging said Federal Government.

That being said, I also look at these cuts into everything, which may very well be needed because the US is bankrupt, and feel a sense of dread because we are finally about to reveal our real economy is dead with no safety net for the majority of people. I'm not seeing signs something new is going to be able to quickly restabilize things instead of Oligarchic cannibalization similar to Russia in the 90s. Keep in mind saying all of this I consider it was either this option or the US going all in on Ukraine and Taiwan under Harris. The incoming cuts into healthcare are going to make things grim I think, VA cuts might also get dicey. All things considered I'll be.... fine, at this point, but I worry for the people in my area.

Edit: But don't get me wrong the Federal Workers absolutely got what was coming to them lmao, this is why you don't alienate half the country for decades.

Our overlords are memers. God help us all.

So Did anything come of bondi's ultimatum about getting the files by 8 today?
Nothing, not a peep.

They can't even "trust the plan" correctly.

For all the people here calling for "end welfare for single moms", I can readily assure, that is a surefire way of getting a political assassination and resulting pandemonium

There are 3 things that you never touch unless you want the guillotines brought out: the money, the healthcare and the children.

A CEO got shot for the 2nd one, touch the 1st one that affects even MORE people?

Well. That's how you get a "let them eat cake" scenario.
Nonsense. The left has been "touching" the children for decades, oftentimes more literally than not. Hell, the last sitting US President was infamous for inappropriately touching children on the national stage.

In Canada, the people are losing all three of these supposed sacred cows: money (to libshit economics, inflation and mass importation of the stinkier parts of the Third World), healthcare (due to libshit management and being overloaded by said immigrants) and their children (due to general antinatalism and outright trannification/grooming). Europe is just as bad.

No, the NPCs will stay boiling in their pot as long as the pied pipers in the media tell them to. Improvement comes from the top down, as we've seen in Hungary, El Salvador and now, finally, the United States.

Instead of tax dollars going to single mothers as a payday, I would rather tax dollars go to programs like this. I'd rather spend tax dollars funding police to keep gangs out. I'd rather spend tax dollars on youth programs and communities. Things that improve people's lives and keep communities safe. That's what tax dollars are supposed to be for. Not for Tyrese's sperm spawn.

I should've said this sooner, but my other big crux is these single moms get permanent paydays. In other countries that is not a thing. You have to pay welfare BACK. You are liable for what you borrow from the government. We do not do that in America for whatever ass backwards reason. I would have absolutely no problem with checks going out to single mothers if it meant they were someday going to be liable to reimburse the government that money. But they don't. Not even a percentile of it has to be paid back. It's nothing but free gibs.

America is also one of the few places that doesn't push companies to pay maternity leave. Even unpaid you get a shockingly small amount of time (6 to 12 weeks) before your expected to come back to work after giving birth. FLMA and PWFA really only ensure the company can't sack you for anything to do with your pregnancy or absence related to it, or do you dirty with a "welcome back! Sorry but you have to take a shitty position now!" move postpartum

Like, as someone who waited till there was a stable relationship and house in place. The state does very little to incentivise a healthy family, and much more to encourage broken ones.

Ultimately I feel like there needs to be a balance on both. Help the single moms who unfortunately fell prey to current society encouraging sleeping around and humoring lousy partners. But also provide SOMETHING- for hard workers who are looking to start building a family.

I'm from the timeline where Mandela wasn't celebrated as a hero at all and was instead bullied into suicide.

If only there was a name for that phenomenon...

It's one of two results from spending well beyond your means for decades on end. Your cuts end up initially driving millions into destitution, tons of jobs are lost, but if offset by cutting taxes and various red tape, the economy can recover, like today's Argentina, if not, it ends up like 90s Russia.

The other result is doing what the rest of Latin America does, just print money forever and gradually seize dictatorial power to ensure that the gibs that everyone needs to survive are tied directly to loyalty to the party, like Brazil and Venezuela.
