I think the problem is people want him to be clad in golden armor and the people who most thrown fits about his missteps seem to think he was. People get super hysterical when he does something stupid, like yeah, he's going to. Every president is going to do things you don't agree with and stupid shit. The hysterics of "I'M SO BLACK PILLED I'LL NEVER VOTE AGAIN" is really over the top. I don't know, I just weigh things. The Tate and Epstein shit is so fucking dumb, but I also look at all the other shit happening I never thought would. And what would be happening if Harris had won. Still glad he won, still would vote for him again, we all know who he is by now. Some of this stuff really should not surprise someone enough to be so hysterical as dumb as it is.
Aside from the obvious weirdos who think everything is some master 4D chess move unironically, I think most people who aren't doomer posting and still support the administration do so weighing the pros and cons and understanding he's a flawed man and it's still overall a positive he won.
