Fun bit of trivia: Churchill negotiated directly with Stalin over who would control what in the Balkans. Each country was listed on the back of an envelope, along with who would control it. After the war, a chagrined Churchill asked Stalin to burn the envelope, and thus prevent any Greeks or Serbs from knowing how causally their country had been given away. Stalin joked that he would send the incriminating envelope to Churchill's retirement home.

As for any potential Russia/burgerland deals, it's quite possible that the Russians would abide by some agreement. But as any Iranian will happily tell you. the burgers will not.
