Considering he just got a 2.8 Billion loan from UK, I'd say he played everyone like a fiddle.

Go cry to Europe about how mean America was, get handouts, then come back and say "Alright, we want the deal
"
it is a loan for UK from Russian frozen assets.

So basically he threw a fit for nothing and just signed the thing anyway. All this did was make Euros drop any pretense they had of giving a shit about the USA as anything more than a sugar daddy.
i think this was after he got the call of No more US military aid for Ukrainian.

i fully expect this deal to be signed friday.
while monday thru thursday is musk DOGE vs federal goverment 5 thing survey & responses. (yes, musk is using AI read all the response it should be done accelerated by wensday)

Norway is unironically the Saudi Arabia of the Arctic. Both countries are religious states that make all of their money from oil and spend it on vanity projects and welfare. The only difference between them is that one of them builds shrines to the Climate God while the other builds shrines to Allah.

Norway puts almost all of the profits from oil into a sovereign wealth fund and have been very hesitant to spend from it. They certainly do have a welfare state similar to many other European (and particularly Scandinavian) countries, but they had that before the oil and it's still funded through taxes. They tax their middle class more heavily than we tax the extremely rich who pay the vast majority of our taxes. The income tax rate is 47% and they have a 25% VAT tax which is similar to sales tax in the US. Turns out free healthcare isn't actually free.

Someone there was smart enough to realize that using all of that money would result in the population becoming dependent on it or more likely lead to Dutch disease and cause more economic problems down the road. I would not liken them to Saudi Arabia outside of having a lot of oil.

Fucking Europoors

Vance was pretty aggro for no reason, but it got the reaction the base wants. maybe thats the role vance plays for now.

Showing everyone how different he is from Harris while building for 28. We're going to see more and more of Vice-President Vance as the term goes on. He needs to be ready should something happen to the President. Never thought Harris was ready or able to step in if something had happened to Biden.

Zelensky: You will not have my country's minerals! The Ukrainian people want war against Russia and we will give it to them!
Trump: Tell you what. I'm a business man, the best business man. You won't find a better negotiator than me. If you sign the agreement, I'll let you keep all the coke Hunter left in the White House. What do you say?
Zelensky: You throw in more cocaine and you will have a deal!
Trump: *sigh* You know what? Fine. I'll have ICE send you all the shit they confiscate from the Mexican border. Now get over here and sign the fucking deal.

OK, seriously: can anyone here give me an unbiased, agenda-free quick rundown on the meeting between Zelenskyy and Trump? My entire social media is on fire from angry shitlibs crying about muh Ukraine, I'm seeing Redditards seething as usual, mainstream news sites are giving me the predictable orange man bad shtick, and Youtube is recommending me right wing grifter channels bragging about how Ukraine has been buckbroken by Trump. I don't know who to trust, and these threads are going fast. What honestly is happening?

Trump presented a non-violent option: Drill and Mine with the US in Ukraine to get things back on track.

Did I care for that plan? Not entirely. But it was a non-violent, diplomatic option that benefited all parties, with implicit security for Zelensky.

But he didn't want implicit, he wanted the vengeful war hawk route and take down Le Putler. He wanted "security" with no diplomatic effort on his part.

He wanted a phony defense contract that serves no one else's interest but his. Not even his constituents fucking want that.

EDIT: point out diplomacy.

In Germany, everyone is riding the copium and moral high train, saying that we should all form "the united states of europe" and "that we should be a military superpower" and "a light of democracy" and all this shit that i heard a million times before and i really ask myself, where will this shit end?

Do these politicians themselves even believe in the "endsieg" or is this just some sort of facade where they can suck people off their money?
The dirty secret of Europe is that without American welfare paying for their defense (allowing the various European nations to instead spend their own cash on programs to keep their people docile nigger cattle) and Russia as the last of the big bads, Europe woud still be a warzone with everyone trying to kill each other....

Saudi Arabia does the exact same thing.

They don't have personal income taxes, but they do have a social security payroll tax, VAT, and corporate income taxes.

A lot of Saudi citizens get useless degrees in religious studies, and Norway has a lot of perma-students majoring in various humanities fields.
