It's crazy how true that is. I'm only touring this thread and I assume I'm in the minority here who is probably best summed up as being firmly on the political Right on most issues, but the amount of rabid glazing of him (and his cringe czar, Elon Musk) in the months after his election (and especially since his inauguration) is genuinely cultlike. I used to think that most of the people calling him the "God Emperor" were shitposting, and while I still do, I really now believe that there's a larger minority than I previously thought who actually think that he's ordained by God or is a god himself. Everything dumb he says or does is heretical to point out and is 4D cope chess'd out of memory, and every good thing he says or does (even if it has yet to be done) is supposed proof of his divinity.

There is nothing genuinely right-wing or based about putting an adulterous foreigner who dreams of replacing American workers with jeet cattle in charge of the federal bureaucracy. MAGA is now the party of rich foreigners who want to turn America into a third-world banana republic like the ones these parasites came from.

The only silver lining is that they've alienated the median American so much that we might actually see a revival of the Know Nothings in our lifetimes. We may get to see Elon cower in fear before a gen-Z William Poole.
