I do not know if these claims are true, I tracked its origin back to here and several organizations were involved including GMOScience and Moms Across America (I have no idea who those people are or if we can trust them)

PS: I don't care that the FDA declared the cookies safe for consumption, their word is trash and anything they approve is just as likely to be poisonous as it is to be non-toxic; the fda literally has no purpose anymore.

From what I understand how it works is that the girls who don't sell enough get ground up into cookies. "Remember: you either sell the cookies, or become the cookies".

This sounds like a good policy on its face but the problem is that it leads to a situation where you're only getting the lowest quality girlscouts ground up in your cookies. Over time this has severely reduced the overall quality of girlscout cookies and led to a lot of undesirable substances finding their way into the mix, due to the type of lifestyles a lot of the suboptimal girlscouts lead.
