Water is almost certainly included in her rent; that's pretty standard for US apartment complexes. For her small apartment, I doubt that electric is more than 50-100 USD a month (and that might be a high estimate). There are some programs that help subsidize electric, and she's likely qualified for that. We know she gets SNAP (one of my favorite Staph stories is when she blew a substantial part of her benefits on morels or whatever it was). As someone already said, there's a good chance her phone is subsidized (what you may have heard people colloquially call an "Obamaphone"). She's not paying anything for health insurance. Her rent is $13. She doesn't have a car payment or insurance for a car. I doubt she's required to maintain renter's insurance. She won't have homeowner's insurance or property taxes, being a renter. In short, her necessary outgoings are so low that it would make all of us weep.

I don't know if she's paying anything to maintain the website where she sells her patches; we do know that she used to spend a certain amount to maintain her backlog on Etsy, but she no longer sells there. Her "organizations" exist entirely on free-to-use social media, so there's no expenditure there. She rarely seems to buy new clothes, and I certainly hope she's not paying much for that haircut (though I suspect her mom does it). She doesn't smoke. She doesn't travel. She doesn't go to movies, and she doesn't go shopping (for things other that food).

All I'm coming up with:

• Fast food / restaurant food / gas station food
• Groceries (purchased from the grocery store)
• Food that she orders from Amazon (including bougie drinks)
• Crap from Amazon (Loki statuettes and so on)
• Etsy purchases (patches, herbs, and so on)
• Scammers (neighbors, people online)

As mind-boggling as it is for most of us, I think that the "where does the money go?" answer for Staph is the same as it is for many of the deathfats featured here: the money goes to overpriced convenience food and cheap tat that's promptly forgotten. Most of us have trouble understanding how much she's actually spending because we have never spent like that and have no frame of reference. We can all quickly tally up sums that involve things like rent or a mortgage, monthly bills, standard grocery runs, that kind of thing, but we don't subsist on gas station snackies, don't impulse-buy patches on Etsy "as a treat" the second our check hits the bank, so on and so forth. She's probably also giving an inordinate amount to her scammer neighbors, who are no doubt experts in asking for a little here, a little there, so your mark won't see how fast it adds up.

Internet in her area is probably around $150 if it's not a new subscriber deal and electric is almost certainly around$150-$200 is it's not subsidized.

As speculated, her phone service is probably free, but if not, it's either $30 or $60. Unless she's with Verizon or on her parents plan.

Fr though since we started this topic I've been offhandley thinking wtf she spends her money on, outside of a handful of prob too many streaming services, and I've got nothing.

Anyone who wants to get her patches, now's the time. It's 450mb unzipped, some of the images are reasonably-sized, others are 8mb each. Staph used at least 3 different cameras over the lifetime of her shop just going off the filenames alone. It was a nice touch not renaming any of the photos to be descriptive of the patch.

Considering how much she’s blown up since starting T (and especially the past year), she’s definitely eating a fuckton of delivery on top of everything. Much of her e begging is going to that when she’s not buying Chinesium toys or getting scammed.

Either way, bitch is getting more than enough support from that, SNAP, and her parents to not need the food bank. Unless proven otherwise, I’m pretty sure her cooking skills end at what’s on the back of the Bisquick box, anyway.
