I really want Putin to be very funny and say ok, we will allow a peacekeeping force, but only if the UK isn't allowed in it. The seething would be incredible. I only suspect this because every political party in the UK seems to want this war to continue or escalate, the payoff I assume being military hardware being built in the UK and therefore cash. The current government is insisting they are going to grow the economy somehow, even though there is no sign of how they are going to do this. Escalate a foreign war and increase production/sales?

While I agree with you Zelensky did deep throat his own footwear when responding to the journalist asking why he wasn't wearing a suit. It was an idiotic question but replying, "maybe when the war is over I'll wear a costume," when both president and vice-president of the country you want money from are in the room with you and wearing suits was astoundingly stupid.
Put aside that his own attire is more of a costume than suits in a formal setting trotting that remark out in front of the cameras was dumb. Sitcom level dumb.

My idea of what is happening is that TPTB realized this is going sideways fast, got enough of the grift, let Trump be elected mostly for the good of Israel, to calm down the goyim a little with meaningless gestures, get the economy up a little without losing face (Orange Man is tainted, nobody who isn't already a supporter would look at his achievements in a positive light), and to handle this slavic slapfight without it turning into something more serious.

If they want to really humiliate the europoors, set up a peacekeeping force of Indians, Africans, etc. Preferably a bunch of former French/English colonies.

This could be a translation issue, in Russian (Zelensky's native language) the word for costume (like you wear for Halloween) and suit (like a business suit) is the same (костюм). And it is read "costume".
So he could have meant to say "I'll wear a suit when the war is over" but because of a problem with synonyms and translation it comes out sounding like he considers wearing a suit something clownish.

Literally the only way this makes sense is if Ukraine has factories making weapons a the Ukraine government cannot pay them directly or nationalize them to make them work for free.
