Online streaming celebrity Amouranth has reassured fans after detailing an armed robbery overnight in which she was pulled from her bed and pistol whipped.

Amouranth, real name Kaitlyn Siragusa, said the gun-weilding assailants demanded crypto and told her to login to her phone. She said she then began posting on X, formerly Twitter, for help "because calling would be a death sentence."

"I'm being too robbed at gunpoint,"Amouranth wrote at 11:55 pm ET on Monday, adding "I'm being too [sic] robbed at gunpont" and "This is not a prank help."

Amouranth, known for her Twitch streams and ASMR-content, said she may have shot one of the attackers. She shared a video of police cars outside her gated home, telling fans she was going to the hospital.

"They pistol whipped me but I got one. I'm bleeding alot but stable going to hospital," she posted at 00:33 a.m. ET on Tuesday. "I believe I shot one of them they wanted crypto is what they were yelling they pulled me out of bed."

Yeah that much is true about waiting for the investigation to be concluded.
But if the news outlet is just falsifying statements from the police (which will become apparent quite soon) then that will likewise be very interesting.

Some of the people in this thread seem intent on hating the ethot for whatever reason, but there is an interesting story here. Some people seem absolutely certain that it is more likely she hired fake actors to pretend steal $20 million dollars worth of crypto vs some criminals actually targeting her for said reason (especially since such crimes have been on the increase recently)

It's gonna be mad funny if they catch the people.

Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa, the popular online personality who boasts a fan following of over 14M people, was the victim of an assault and home invasion robbery said to have been perpetrated by three individuals who entered through a patio window and then kicked in her bedroom door at her Houston area residence.


According to Siragusa, the perpetrators demanded that the 31-year-old influencer give them access to her crypto wallet on her phone in order to transfer coins into another account. During the encounter, Siragusa said on X that she had been “pistol whipped” and had blood all over her face. She would eventually head to the hospital to be checked out and has since told her fans that she is okay.


According to a Houston Police Department spokesperson, during the time this was happening, Siragusa’s 36-year-old husband heard the commotion, armed himself and entered the room. As the suspects attempted to flee, Siragusa’s husband was able to fire off an unknown number of shots, possibly injuring one of the suspects.


The Houston Police Department was contacted at approximately 10:50 p.m. and was dispatched to the scene to investigate. SWAT was not called out.

This is the second news outlet to say they've spoken with da police

Police were called and dispatched but SWAT wasn't. But I don't expect a bimbo to even know what SWAT is.

If that's true her being a badass shooting is quite a bit reduced. It would actually be more inline though that she was just freaking out running in and he was waiting and got them.

If the worst she lied about was that it was saying she did it a bit right after, that'll probably not be a huge deal.

I'm impressed by the sleuthing going on all over, here and other places. More than any local too many other media stories really.

But it looks like he was on a separate area.... conveniently right next to his guns which he used to shoot the "thieves" a few seconds after seeing them

What I think happened:
Husband/pimp has a lot of bitcoin and got greedy.
He doesn't want to pay taxes on it, so he pulls this stunt to pretend they got robbed, so he can then launder the money
Unfortunately Amouranth can't keep her mouth shut and is a bad liar and is about to fuck up his whole plan

One problem with that theory, even though it is interesting, is that she put up a public screenshot showing she had $20m in Bitcoin. So unless he's sitting on more than that or was trying to same strategy it doesn't really make much sense.

Online streamer Amouranth repeatedly posted on X Sunday night, essentially live-posting a crime in progress, as multiple intruders purportedly broke into her Spring Branch Central home, according to local authorities.
According to a Houston Police spokesperson, Kaitlyn Siragusa, who goes by Amouranth online, was asleep around 10:40 p.m. when three gunmen forced their way into her home. The gunmen allegedly pistol whipped Siragusa on her head and attempted to rob her before Siragusa's husband opened fire and shot at the intruders — potentially striking one of the gunmen, a Houston Police spokesperson said.
Siragusa was taken to a nearby hospital for a head injury and her condition was stabilized, she said.
Siragusa, took to X at 10:55 p.m., writing that she was being robbed at gunpoint by three masked robbers, allegedly for cryptocurrency the thieves believed the renowned streamer controlled. In a video shared on her X account, three people described as the gunmen could be seen running behind Siragusa outside of her home before entering. Three gunshots could be heard off screen before the people are seen screaming and running away from the house.
In her X post, Siragusa said: "The pummeling felt like it would never end and I protected my head by putting my arms up like I learned how to do in boxing, blood was streaming down my head ... ."
"They brought duct tape and masks and were armed with handguns," Siragusa said.
The Houston Police Department was continuing its investigation on the attempted robbery.

I'm assuming that the $20m is shared between the two, and he told her to publish the public screenshot as step 1 of the plan to launder "her" money

That would be a completely stupid plan. You don't need to share a screenshot of it to do anything except massively increase your risk of being robbed/extorted/murdered/kidnapped.

It just doesn't make sense at all if you leave the bimbo out of the picture and assume the husband is smart (which I think is a fair stance to think from). Showing off the crypto does nothing publicly. Besides which she also spoke about her finances openly on tons of her videos (apparently - I don't watch livestreamers so I wouldn't know).

And again, the only way this theory works is if the crypto was actually stolen. It wasn't.

Like you could way more easily just buy a random laptop and "steal" the crypto from yourself. 1/100000th the effort and 1/99999999999999999999th the risk. People get hacked and get their shit stolen all the fucking time.

If you download the Citizen app you can scroll on over to Houston, scroll back ~15 hours, and there is a report of home invasion with an uncensored version of the police radio that Keemstar posted. It will also show you the address, which lines up with the videos Amouranth posted of the aftermath. Which to say someone did call 911 to her home, at some point during this. Impossible to say for sure if it was actually her husband or just some weirdo simp who quickly found her address and called it in when she was live tweeting her alleged abduction.

If you look at the video she shared and then compare with the layout of the property, the alleged perpetrators chased her from the main home to the detached guest house, allegedly got "shot," and then ran out of the guest house into the backyard? Which seems like it has an awfully tall wall compared to the very hoppable front gate? Her house is blurred out on Google street view, which I guess makes sense, she probably requested that, but if you click along the road it goes back in time a couple years and you can tell it's definitely the right location for the Citizen App report.

My honest guess is that she faked this, but did not anticipate that random internet weirdos would rush to her aid by calling the police and providing her address, which they know or could quickly find because they're weird simps.

Houston Chronicle is enough to me that absolutely certainly something happened fairly close to what we've gotten from her. She may have had head injury and in shock and just tweeted something out. I'd consider that more likely than the video/pics and so on faked. The details of the shooting and who did what will probably take a bit.

The only way I'll believe it's not close to true if a full retraction from major media.

Yeah, maybe you are right, when you put it that way, it's hard to believe it was a complex scam. I have a tendency to go full schizo on these stories.
If this is a scam, the people involved are EXTREMILY retarded. The fact that Amouranth is a pathological liar doesn't help

But my heart tells me it's true
And even if it didn't happen, it should have had
