Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

I genuinely think zelensky is going to get smoked at the state of the union address because Graham is like a user in the pro-ukraine thread and even he did a hard 180.
When you are fighting a war against russia and you have lost the support of Graham, you have fucked up big time. I didn't think this was even possible.

I really wonder what happened behind closed doors. I think it would take A LOT more than just a shitshow of a press conference for Graham to suddenly change his mind like that. His attitude has alvays been "as long as russians dies I am happy. I don't care how they die just as long as the war goes on and more of them die". That is basically Grahams position. Or was, until the last few days.

I agree with the ukrainian emigrants that ukraine is a shithole and isn't worth fighting for. and that's why I don't want america to get involved anymore than we already have. ukraine is a terrible place that no one likes. Think about it, very few British left Britian during the German bombings of world war 2, the french mounted a fierce resistance against the nazis, the south vietnamese stayed and fought until after the fall of saigon. If you like your country you'll stay and fight for your way of life.
You are really special, aren't you? What do think happens to colonial collaborators when the guerillas come for them?
Likewise, how many boats do you think were leaving hamburg when ww2 was in full swing, huh?

It's almost as if the actual warzone is in the eastern parts of ukraine and russia... and in the rest of that country it's all about getting out before the body snatchers put their finger on your name - we now also have international flight and almost everybody has a car, fyi...

Likewise, there were MILLIONS of people fleeing war in eastern europe on FOOT during WW2, but you wouldn't know that - in either direction, east and west - depending on which side of the front line they were at.

Germans actually DID try to rotate women and children out of the big cities en masse too.
"Kinderlandverschickung" is what they named it.

Europe has no tech sector

Europe holds the entire semiconductor industry by the balls.

Either he knows the jig is up and he changed teams for self preservation, or Trump has blackmail on him from Mossad

Yeah, North Koreans are basically canon fodder right now because they don't seem to understand the new modern warfare. They are constantly grouping in large numbers which basically means death sentence. Even individually their movements and coordinations are ridgit and inflexible.
But has there been any evidence of North Korean soldiers presence?

https://deepstatemap.live/ for pro-Ukraine. Very good generally, but sometimes slow to report Russian wins by a day or so. VEEEERY slow to report anything in Kursk
https://defensepoliticsasia.com/ukraine/ for a more neutral map (it factors in both Ukrainian and Russian claims)
DPA is just the best.

There seems to be a defiant doubling down against reality. Are they too stuck in the propaganda bullshit that it'll take time to come to reality? Is it an attempt to pretend they haven't been lying.
This is literally how they think about everything now, and most of it has its roots in Covid.

I mean, the Covid "vaccine" did not protect anyone who got it from getting infected with Covid, nor did it prevent them from passing on "a full viral load" once infected. In fact, an injected person was just as vulnerable to being infected as anyone else.

All it did was, on average, it lowered the rate of advanced disease. That may be a good reason to take it, but it's not a reason for the government to mandate it in the name of public safety or workplace safety.

Through this process, they trained themselves, through waves of events, to fight back against reality. "Two weeks to flatten the curve," became two more weeks, and then two more, and so on. The promise of "herd immunity" was quickly announced as an impossibility during The New York Times' The Daily Podcast, and the reporters response was cognitive dissonance. You could tell she didn't believe, didn't want to believe it, and her brain was fighting on some level against what she was hearing.

And then it continued on. Since the injection did not offer protection, the CDC had to literally go in and change the definition of vaccine. That was a hard fight against reality.

And then they just kept going. They kept fighting with propaganda, lies reshaping the narrative, blaming people who were speaking out.

The best part for them after all this is that there's never any reckoning at all. There probably never will be. That fact is what truly ingrained this into their being permanently. I was told specifically that I needed to get injected because, years later, there would be things I want to do that I would not be legally allowed to do. Now it is years later and no vaccine passports are ever used for anything ever. The fact that all quietly went away without any reprisals is golden for them.

The reason why it's exactly the same with the Ukraine issue is quite simple: the reason they're on the side that they're on and why they support what they support is because of one thing and one thing only. To them, they're "the smart people." Smart, educated, responsible people have picked a side, and they now too pick that side because they want to be among the smart. It's the same phenomena happening inside of the brain of a ten-year-old who wants to be popular at school. It's not advanced. They don't have any ideology. They don't support democracy, as they claim, as Ukraine is no longer a democracy. They're hypocrites.

One day, the war in Ukraine will have ended, and these people will have continued their winning streak of always being right about global political issues.

It's a fight against reality and it's a fight against us all.

Eastern European draft dodgers keep saying that their countries can rot because they didn't do shit for them. You'd think that Pedro, Patrick, Harry, Jean-Pierre, Willem and Dieter would be more martial but the people willing to defend their country drops significantly as you travel from Eastern to Western Europe even though living standards rise. Because weak men multiply.

Nah. Think it has more to do with demoralization.

Why the F would a young Frenchman or Brit defend the country that has so thoroughly betrayed him?

Also, I don't think trump wrote this. It's too normal.
Z says publicly "the end of the war is very very far away" ?
Is he fucking retarded? Does he not understand that is he keeps saying shit like this that a peace negotiation becomes impossible?

Why should other leaders meet today, waste time on shit when he himself does not see any end of fighthing for a very very long time?
This is exactly what you would say if you want to torpedo any negotiations and have everyone say "ok, pointless to do anything right now then, maybe we meet again in a years time and re-evaluate".
There is not a single person in Ukraine that can wrangle this tard and stop him from saying really un-productive shit like this?

There’s been photos and a handful of videos of North Korean equipment in Ukraine/Kursk. Usually the more modern stuff they’ve been keen to show on parade these past few years.

My guess is there are small numbers deployed primarily to test new hardware on the battlefield.

It'd be a shame if something happened to that little "holland" of yours...
Go ahead, fulfill your dream and nuke Europe since it's all useless. Just don't be surprised when five or ten years down the line, even with your Intel fabs, you'll have to regress decades in semiconductor development because the sole company that allowed for UEV litography is gone, and their machines are impossible to reverse engineer, so once they break, they all break for good. Do keep thinking that TSMC is your only worry in terms of semiconductor independency though, ignorance truly is bliss.

And if you're thinking about military takeover, yeah tough luck with that, I'm sure you'll leave all the critical infrastructure and documentation unscathed with such a power move, especially the high precision fabs.

Dude, I was joking - The intended takeaway was just that ASML isn't as critical as you think it is, INTELAVIV could produce ALL their own fab equipment, if really pressed and keep what they already have running for some time. The most valuable assets are the active, high end semi-fabs, like in Taiwan or the U.S. Holy shit. And yes, you are wrong on "military takeover": First the frontline is FAR away and yes, if push comes to shove in any which way, the U.S. will just incentivize ASML to move somewhere safer and/or "steal" engineers from them.

I don't know if they have the time to do that.

Without US support, can Ukraine fight Russia for another year without folding all of its territory?

That seems like a big gamble.

Meh… Yea and no.

Despite technically being Dutch, ASML isn’t really a European company. Their supply chain is spread out throughout the world, and back in the 90ies when the company as we know it was created, they deliberately put a big part of their assets in the US.
