Trump is repealing social security taxes, as if the boomers didn't need yet another thing they got this to. The justification was that this was to help poor old people who can't work and are on a fixed income but the issue is that social security tax brackets were already structured in such a way that those people basically paid nothing anyways this only benefits wealth retirees on social security.

Social security is America's biggest source on spending and is bankrupting the country. At least with Military spending there is te benefit that things like treaties, arms sales and the better rtrade deals that come along with the increased presitage make it worth it. You can debate about that but there is the case to be made.

what does social security do for America as a country long term ?

Read this article about how boomer dominance has enabled low birth rates, mass migrartion and leftistm

70 IQ mental midget here, if every single country has the same amount of tariffs as the US don't they basically just cancel each other out?
The idea is it discourages foreign markets from interfering by making it costly to participate. The winner of a trade war is the country with the strongest independent economy because the foreign markets will move to domestic production to get around it.

70 IQ mental midget here, if every single country has the same amount of tariffs as the US don't they basically just cancel each other out? Like if we had 25% tariffs on Canada and Canada had 25% on the US for example.
Essentially yes, but the point of tariffs isn't actually to make money for the nation using them. It's to entice industry into building and manufacturing their products in said country. So when the US tariffs less than Canada, it entices people to moving their businesses to Canada, provided the resources and whatnot are there.
It's why everyone has been moving to China, apart from the cheaper labor. China tariffs a decent amount, but the US doesn't in return. So it's more economically viable to move your business to China and then just sell the product in the US.

Also the Tarrifs are retarded, America's main economic asset was that the US dollar was valuable and this is because people want to sell things to America and other governments having faith in America.

Trump is destroying trust in America and the tarrifs a long with the general decline of the American economy mean that pretty soon people will just want to export less to the USA anyways taking away all of America's leverage.

America just doesn't produce much anymore and can't really because labor would be to expensive and there isn't enough people to pivot to making more stuff domestically. America has a like 5% unemployment rate there isn't a lot of fat to trim in regards to potential factory workers.
