A lot of the MCU really was funded or influenced by the government to put propaganda messages in there. Not much different than how Wolf Warrior 2, the Chinese blockbuster about Chinese Rambo shooting black people and their white bosses in Africa to save Chinese factory owners, has Chinese propaganda in it despite occasional moments that gently criticize China like alluding to criminals bribing CCP members. Movies are big business to put subversive shit.
