I dunno the full story on him but apparently he was an Australian who came to the States somehow got linked into the porn industry where he'd give very detailed but stream of consciousness interviews with everyone that would allow him to talk to them and seemed to purposely make the interviews as banal and unerotic as possible. No clue how or where he ended up but he wanted to become a porn director more than a porn critic so he converted to Judaism but that backfired because the porn bigwigs thought he was making fun of them so he effectively got blacklisted from porn. They could make a movie outta that guy's career. A sort of post Boogie Nights film really.

I know this because I think they did episodes of CSI and Criminal Minds about the Las Vegas sewer people. Apparently you can be homeless in Nevada but still work jobs as entertainers that work on the tourist areas by living in the sewers and everyone in that place sees that as normal.

This is just sad.
