Also Trump fans and libertarians how do you reconcile this ? How are the cartels any different then Ross. Why is the cartels selling drugs enough to cause an international incident but Ross is a good boy who dinfu nuffin ?
Ross never actually killed anyone, even though he fell for about 7 fake FBI hire-a-hitman schemes, but he has served enough time in prison for that imo. Meanwhile, cartels like to invent new and inventive ways to torture and kill people, I consider them very different in levels of violence.
As a sort-of lolbertarian, I want to see drugs legalized and checked for quality by the state, but fentanyl is so lethally strong that it blurs the line between drug and chemical weapon. Something has to be done about it.
The cartels are openly hostile and violent towards the US, they even blew up that poor farmer with an IED recently. Even if they weren't, helping your neighbor with their pest infestation is going to be beneficial for you in the long run.
