Honestly, I don't hate it. The guy does have a soothing voice and the "animation" is a lot better than his usual overproduced style and is good ambiance to put on a 2nd monitor to glance at every now and again. I would listen if he would choose topics that haven't been done to death.

In one of his videos, he mentioned how he wasn't raised with social media. Is that the secret to being a based zoomer? I didn't have a phone until I was 18, so I didn't use social media other than Facebook and Tumblr, two sites I didn't use that much either. It kept me from being brainwashed.

Same. Everyone else had phones back in high school while I only had my trusty, dusty chromebook. I was already in a Christian household, so that combined with the fact I wasn't indoctrinated early on and during the whole BLM craze cause even I knew from the beginning how stupid that was, I really can thank myself for never actually being interested in having a phone until I had one be plopped in my front of my lap when I got to college.

It's funny. I didn't even actively pursue my interest around the internet until the 2020s, both the same year of the whole George Floyd riots and my first introductions to Kiwifarms, though I stayed as a lurker for 4-5 years. I'm pretty sure even without a phone, I still wouldn't have fallen into the whole indoctrination of things that were being pushed all over our faces.

I tried to watch it myself and I just couldn't. I tried watching other videos of him in the past and he just comes off as a petulant prick. Legit the only reason I even bothered to check his video is because I wanted to know if he had anything of note compared to this three year old video.

And I couldn't. I admit I tapped out and I've sat through six even eight hours of cringe before to entertain like fifteen people in the past but this tit is just repelling.

Eve was so shit it deserves its own analysis video on how, even in a cultural landscape of people talking on the most inane things, it never reaches a point. Literal 4 hours of "and then X happened".

As someone who played it at the top level for years, it was insane how he focused on everything that was casual bait and not remotely real about the game. I imagine CCP getting involved and essentially directing it as an advertising piece didn't help much either.

The Boatmurdered one was a lot better and way closer to his older stuff, hopefully a good sign.
