The left is gloating now that activist judges are ripping the MAGA agenda apart and Trump does nothing to fight back.

So much for winning. Enjoy four more years of Trump 1.0 lame duck horseshit.
Legal Eagle is the only guy on the internet who has worse political/legal takes than yourself. There is a reason why respected lawyers aren't sounding the Trump is over alarms yet.

I know you don't want to hear this but Trump is the last thing America needs. We don't need a boomer blustering loudmouth with all bark and no bite

I know you won't want to hear this but America needs a Xi Jing Ping, obviously not Xi Jing Ping himself or even someone with his ideology I mean someone with his temperament. America needs a quiet reformer who makes things happen and is an informed technocrat who dos the work to make the small but meaningful reforms.

Thank you for your insight. I'll gladly watch the video you archived.

Have a good night.

The NY FBI office head left the building with bagpipes and crying women as he was forced to resign. All the people supporting him should be fired.

This performance of all things is making me MATI, this is banana republic shit, why the fuck does the director of an FBI field office have this big of an ego? I'd support humbling these people even if they actually did nothing wrong at this point

Libertarianism in America is dead, the LP withdrew their candidate against Trump taking away any credibility they had as an anti establishment party and for what to free one guy who sold drugs online.

Libertarianism in general is dying, as trust erodes in society it is being shown more and more you just need a heavy hand to keep order as seen by Bukele in El Salvador. Economically the modern economy is just more complicated and needs more planning and more things investors can take as given which needs to be guaranteed by the state.

China did everything every libertarian economist swore up and down would not work and guess what it worked great.

Oh.

Remember a few days ago they were talking about investigating the Biden admin, since he was out to lunch for at least the last year, probably all 4?

They found that they scanned and copy/pasted his signature to things he "signed," and the signature is very different on some documents. "Signing" a document with a scanned and copy/pasted signature invalidates legal documents because there's no way to tell if you actually signed them (and in fact, you didn't).

Outside of clown world, this would invalidate a looot of things Biden "signed." But there's NO WAY IN HELL anyone wants to pull the pin on that one.
As amazing as it would be to see this shit investigated I don't think it would ever happen. The Trump admin would basically have to focus its entire four years exclusively on this, and even then I doubt there would be enough evidence that hasn't been destroyed.
I feel like this is one of those things that won't come out for another 20-40 years after everyone involved is either dead or legally distanced enough for there to be zero consequences.

Remember when he made video whining about the Electoral College the day before Trump won the popular vote?

Fatpacks you're on your alt

it's not a binary though, cheap goods vs expensive.
It actually is. Acquisition cost matters, and very few cheap goods are "actually" more expensive than premium goods.

e.g. a decent, Chinese-made Black & Decker blender is about $40, and an American-made Vitamix is $700. Sure, the B&D will need to be replaced a few times, but not 20 times.

You can get a decent American-made sofa for around $2300. But a $450 cheap import can easily last a decade (source: my $450 sofa turns 10 next year). No, there's not some secret $2000 cost I'm incurring by not having bought an American sofa when I had no money (and when I finally get a good one, total cost will be cheaper than if I'd borrowed money to buy an American sofa).

Once you can go to a big box store and buy crap you don't have to pay someone to make a better version.

You're acting like everyone was buying handcrafted chairs and tailored suits before 1994. Cheap, mass-produced factory goods were driving out artisanal goods in the first half of the 20th century. The era of every chair being an heirloom ended before my Boomer parents were born. That Formica garbage from the 1950s doesn't represent some necessary civilizational skill that we need to recover.

Bitching about the EC is the least dumb thing he did. He tried to launch his own little lawfare campaign against Trump, and it never got off the ground. The only thing that is spairing him from being a full fledge lolcow is he doesn't have much of a social media presence.

I'd argue it goes back even further.
True.

Reality is, a tariff's a tax. We need some kind of tax to fund the federal government, and if it's one that can be used to make foreign countries deal fairly with us, so be it. But it's not some kind of cost-free economic healing salve. Taxes make things more expensive, full stop, because there's no free lunch.

Only if you include a 6,000 word essay about Lego's economic impact on both the US and Denmark, complete with three sections on tariffs, as well as MLA citations.
Don't forget to have a section address the impact of shifting away from petroleum based plastics and how they plan to absorb the 70% cost increase, while facing a tumultuous US toy market and global economic headwinds.
