According to Dr. Google:Also the definition of what is "super morbidly obese" has been going up. I read that there is an entirely new category of fat, but I can't remember what it's called.
- Overweight: BMI of 25 to 29.9
- Obesity (Class I): BMI of 30 to 34.9
- Obesity (Class II): BMI of 35 to 39.9
- Obesity (Class III, formerly Morbid Obesity): BMI of 40 or higher
- Super Obesity: BMI of 50 or higher
- Super-Super Obesity (Class IV): BMI of 60 or higher
