Isn’t it curious how ”atypical” all munchies are in their clinical presentations? It’s almost as if they don’t meet the criteria but want to claim the conditions anyway. Odd, that.

And she’s ”allergic” to Prednisone now? How would that even work?

Anyway, I’m glad she is posting dumb stuff and hysteria again. There must be a paper due or something.
I think "my leaky stinky diarrhea crew" is a more appropriate than "my IBD baddies."

Munchies have really evolved rapidly on SM in the last decade. In the beginning you had the anorexic girls only vying for romantic, non-gross types of photogenic illnesses. Very much in line with the ghostly pale and frail TB romanticism of yesteryear.

But at some point, much like fart jokes get an easy laugh, munchies realized upping the gross factor was a good way to get in the front of the attention line. (I think the g- tubes and stomas opened the floodgates initially) There was also some plausible deniability factor because who would lie about dealing with gross, disgusting things except someone actually suffering from them? Munchies like Vicky now revel in being gross, offensive and distracting thanks to the attention and patronizing praise it receives.

It’s very similar to the gross BPD MTF trannies that make no attempt to pass and walk around hoping to be “misgendered” so they can throw a fit and accuse people of transphobia. I feel like Vicky does the same thing, but she’s gunning for ableism and discriminating against chronic illness warriors and disabled people.

I get the idea, like many lolcows, that she’s far more aggressive and pushy online than she is in public. Her parents are probably the only humans that get the full SM Vicky persona IRL because they are the only humans that will tolerate it. In public, and around others, I figure she leans in hard to the poor disabled girl pity schtick. The loud, proud “activist” is an online persona that is the creation of too much adderall and time alone online.

I think if Vicky acted in public the way she claims online we’d have more funny footage of her antics around NYU and NYC taken by randos. More wild cow spotting. Given her bravado and claims online she’d definitely have been noticed and recorded by others. I’ve never seen her mention attending, or spotted, at the many NYU protests at Bobst Library for tranny BS. Never hear about participation in woke groups or activities around campus. The extent of her social life seems to be her parents, visits to the ER and occasionally using her power chair to go to a class once or twice a month. I’d believe she’s developing into an agoraphobic. I think a lot of chronically online millennials develop agoraphobia.

Vicky’s biggest nemesis is now NYU faculty and admin that have cottoned onto her BS after so many years. Using the same bullshit excuses and medical crises as exams near or papers are due only works the first 50 times. You can understand her wanting to avoid anything but online interactions because the more she is forced to interact IRL with others the faster her BS falls apart and stops working.

Ironically her parents providing top tier health insurance was probably the worst thing for a munchie like Vicky where playing along with her BS is very lucrative.

I agree with most of what you say, but I really believe her parents are done with her. They may support her financially sporadically (or she has a trust fund) but her claims of no contact ring true to me. There was an issue with a rental contract that her dad refused to co-sign recently, and she lamented being told about her parents divorce from some other relative, for example.

I was speaking more generally, as in they are the only people who have gotten the full dose of her IRL over the years. I agree they’ve rolled up the welcome mat on her BS but still pay her bills, tuition and health insurance. They think she’s incredibly mentally ill so have established boundaries on her BS, probably with the guidance of their own therapists. (I think for the first few years they believed her and indulged it, but eventually realized it was just a manipulation game with her and now view it as part of her mental illness and addictive behavior.

Cutting off all financial support would be the game changer, but one they seem unwilling to do thus far. Probably in no small part due to the public humiliation campaign she would undertake. I could 100% see Vicky in her power chair live stream begging Pajeet style on the mean streets of New Hope with a homeless disabled trans sign. Vicky has definitely weaponized the fact her parents feel shame and care about social status and profession achievements.

Also, I missed the divorce thing?. Vicky’s parents are split? Not surprising. Their eldest being an unmitigated disaster probably kept them focused on her never ending series of crises instead of their failing relationship. But upper class parents waiting to divorce until the kids are off to college is a stereotype for a reason. I guess they think the youngest, band-aid baby, can cope. She certainly couldn’t do any worse than the oldest that got full parenting and intensive attention well into her 20’s.

Chicken or egg question but I wonder if Vicky’s insanity kept them together longer or caused major fault lines to develop. Hard to say if they agreed on how to handle Vicky’s BS as a team or blamed each other. Easy to see a blame game developing over Vicky and how to handle her. I’d bet mom noped out first and enjoyed dumping her BS on her husband’s lap to handle. Then after dealing with Vicky by himself he and the wife got on the same page eventually.

When Vicki wears gloves for a long time, her hands have lines from the gloves. This can only mean she's very ill!

Yeah, "does too much" is really her problem.

Vicki has a new laptop. I wonder who bought it for her. She hasn't talked at all about how she obtained it, and I guarantee it's not a "renewed" $200 Amazon one or she'd have gotten it a while back.

I find it very hard to believe that NYU doesn’t have lots of accessible desks for students in the library and computer labs. Slightly PL, but I work somewhere very small in comparison and with students and WE have an accessible desk.

Also lots of university libraries have laptops to loan. Also many universities have discount schemes to help students buy laptops.

Why does anyone believe Vicky BS about a laptop? The bitch probably spilled an energy drink all over her year old laptop and is screaming discrimination that it wasn’t instantly replaced with a new one in 24 hours.

Vicky’s problem is she has had constant access to laptops her whole life. A two year ban on access to all laptops, tablets and screens would probably do more to fix Vicky’s broke brain than all the psychiatrists and drugs in the world.

Now I'm wondering how many of the meek, mopey-looking pooners with canes and masks I see around are secretly full blown lolcows online and to their parents...

How do you think Vicky would respond if asked "if someone could waive a magic wand and cure all your disabilities and make you a true and honest man, would you go for it?"

Like, she's made being a poor unfortunate disabled trans man her whole identity, but she also complains about her life fucking constantly. Which wolf inside of her would win?

(I assume she'd say she'd choose to stay a disabled trans man...but that kind of invalidates all her complaining.)

*sigh* yes im doing the thing:
its easier to have no laptop and work from the school computers than having a linux laptop. I dual booted and still never had a specific program i had to download. But doing the regular word processing took a minute to figure out. Everything required from schools are web based. Blackboard for example. The only example. If a specific program was required, you bought a key and used the school lab for the class. Specific programs require hardware and drivers that normal retards are too stupid to understand.

"if someone could waive a magic wand and cure all your disabilities and make you a true and honest man, would you go for it?"
I’m pretty certain the answer would be something along the lines of ”I reject the premise of your hypothetical scenario, chud. Disabilities aren’t aberrations to be eradicated, they’re normal human variations and you’re a goddamn NAZI to suggest otherwise. Now take your able-bodied privilege and scram. I’m reporting you to the police.”

Also, given what she’s said about practicing walking, she could transfer from her power chair to a desk chair to use a computer.
I’m genuinely curious how much Vicky walks. She spends most of the time in her room, so very little, but in a city the size of NYC she really doesn’t have to worry about anyone other than her “roommates” (if they exist) and maybe some ppl at NYU seeing her out of her beloved power chair. It’s convenient city for using the chair when she feels like it, and not necessary when inconvenient or won’t garner attention or extra accommodations. Unlike New Hope, where she would be known as the wheelchair girl and suddenly walking about would be noticed.

When did she fundraise the vaunted power chair? I think she was at home during that period. Id love to know if her parents set up cameras, or little tells, so they knew how much she didn’t use the chair when no one was looking. She would be strict power chair required girl anytime the family was around, suddenly not necessary to get to the door quickly for her doordash

The power chair according to her was via insurance. It took months of her pleading with them about why she needed this specific chair that costs as much as a luxury car.

Insane that she gets this and people with legit claims give up and slink away every day. The squeaky wheel dictum is a harsh law of nature.

Especially in the States, the real tragedy of social services is that the system has been made too complex for many genuinely disabled people to navigate, but not complex enough to deter manipulative fraudsters.

I think she's fine without the chair (probably deconditioned to the point of thinking she needs it though) and chooses not to walk or make life easier for herself just because she's entitled and lazy and wants other people to fawn over her needs. She might sneak a bit of walking to a deli or whatnot for the occasional meal (I want to believe this so badly, truly cannot fathom an unemployed person eating doordash 3x a day every week), but her cries for mutual aid (hilariously sandwiched in between gripes about her extremely privileged childhood) reek of learned helplessness - this is a city where you can effectively be a shut-in, as long as you have enough money to have everything delivered.

Also wondering (since she reads here) if she's cottoned onto the fact some farmers live in her city and would definitely recognize her in the wild, so, despite it being a big place full of people, she's just paranoid about walking because she thinks the world does actually revolve around her in some way. She was on a ted talk, didn't you know?! But this isn't a power chair friendly city - there is a lot of ADA compliance in newer buildings and better sidewalks and roads in more gentrified neighborhoods, but overall there's LOTS of shitty curbs, lots of fast-moving people, lots of old buildings, old sidewalks, narrow entrances and businesses with freaky small square footage. So my guess is that she doesn't ever publicly drop the power chair larp because she thinks she's a well-known disability expert, because she grifts enough resources to live off delivery and has no clue how money works, and because her subconscious knows she's a huge self-sabotaging liar so she can't let down the facade in the company of others lest her sad little special-identity-fueled ego crumble.

Funniest part is if she left the house in jeans and a hoodie no one would look at the fat bitch twice.

I think Victoria legitimately has a high degree of health anxiety, and that when she tries to walk around in her deconditioned state she worries that she is having some kind of pulmonary or cardiac event because she feels out of breath and tired.

She is too narcissistic to recognize that there could possibly be a big distance between her level of health anxiety and her level of actual ill health. She believes so much in her own stories that it is not possible for her to do what a normal person could do if they were deconditioned and work through those feelings of breathlessness or tiring easily. A normal person in Vicki's condition would have done Couch to 5k years ago.
