Its even worse then this. They have censored and blocked every type of wrong think and bad speak of their cooperate sponsors so much that they will never see it if they don't actively seek it out. They are now pro cooperation and pro "the man" completely unironically.

This lack of real world understanding combined with their plush lives have completely coddled them to the point where if anyone mentions something even slightly out of line they attack them as a nazi and stop listening.

This means they never get to hear all that real talk many of us are privy to once we pass the test of not freaking out over a minor joke. This has resulted in them having no theory of mind about conservatives which are now the majority of Americans.

They litterally can't even reason why anyone would support trump the only guess they have is that the majority of his supporters are sub-60 IQ retards. This of course falls flat when CEOs, billionaires, athletes, fighter pilots, astronauts, and the damn inventor of MRNA disagrees with their world view.

This is also the reason they can't make good movies anymore. Their idea of reality is completely out of sync with everyone so they can't even make jokes or compelling narratives. When they earnestly try it end up as a series of race and gender talking points. They are no longer "forcing that" its all they can write.

Any minor success they have had are purposefully politically neutral completely esoteric shows like Rick and Morty.
