That's the thing, though. From what I've been able to figure out, there are a couple tiers within that world.
The obvious tier is composed of many of the people you see in the thread linked above, as well as the participants from wealthy families.
The other tier is the poor, naïve girls and their families from the lower classes. Think child Disney stars. No little girl signs up to be willingly creeped on by Dan Schneider, but she may have a mother who turns a blind eye because she wants an actress-daughter. Below this tier we have an even worse one, where both the parent and child are ignorant of what things like child modeling truly entail until it's too late. Today I found a perfect example of someone predisposed to only regurgitate official verdicts. A really stupid article on the Johnny Gosch case written by some insipid journo. She's your typical lib complete with capitalizing Black at every opportunity.

• She labels ex-FBI agent Ted Gunderson "far-right" because he was in contact with the Patriot movement. She falsely says he perpetuated the McMartin allegations, when he only investigated them after the trial was over. She likens him to Alex Jones and scoffs at his theories of government mind control, despite those things being public knowledge.
• She somehow says it's a bad thing for parents to be concerned of strangers harming their children because it is statistically rare.
• She talks about how 93% victims are victimized by their relatives and acquintances, not realizing her article is also harming them. Daycare workers are in fact acquintances of the children.
• She mentions how homeless and marginalized kids are most common victims of sexual abuse. She completely contradicts herself later by disputing the Franklin scandal, which involved several marginalized victims.

Then comes the most retarded part:

Let's ignore her commonplace woke pandering. She mentioned R. Kelly and Epstein as cases of "credible accusations". I do not doubt that the only reason she would do this is because both perpetrators were institutionally acknowledged as child abusers. If they were never convicted, I would bet my life she would be defending them. She'd probably cry R. Kelly was a victim of racism and Epstein was a victim of a blood libel.

This journo doesn't seem to realize that the story she is describing as “credible” perfectly matches the ones she is disputing. Virginia Giuffre was raised in a sexually abusive home she ran away from, living on the streets and in foster homes. This same thing happened with several of the Franklin victims. Many of them were homeless, living with foster parents in Boys Town. Epstein also "killed himself" under suspicious circumstances, much like the D.C. pedo pimp Craig J. Spence that had connections to Franklin and the White House.

Epstein served 13 months for his conviction of trafficking. R. Kelly's child porn piss tape leaked in 2002 and led to no conviction. Both of them took over a decade to go to jail. If rich pedophiles can pay their way out of jail, why is it such a leap to imagine it has been going on for decades?

• She does that smug sociologist schtick of "But what about the sex offender's rights?", many times. She tries to paint Reagan's anti-pedo policies as a bad thing.
• She describes NAMBLA as a barely existent group, ignoring that its founder was one of the most influential gay rights activists of the time. This also ignores the covert political power pedophiles exterted within their groups in the 70s-90s. Netherlands, having several interest groups, actually lowered the age of consent to 12 in 1990.
• She's badly retelling the Franklin scandal, ignoring all the important bits and surmising with "the officials said they found nothing so nothing must have happened". If we're only concerned with convictions, is she going to admit that the successfully prosecuted 1984 Miami case was a genuine instance of satanic ritual abuse?
• She completely discounts Noreen's allegation of Johnny's 1997 visit because "There was no danger of him coming back home". While her account is a bit strange, the remark shows the author's complete ignorance of the power that clandestine (and government backed) organizations wield.
