come to think of Ethan and Hila crying about the Jomhas "not standing by them"... We all notice that neither Chad, Max nor Joji stand up for Idubbbz and write a kind word about him/tell the people to cool it with the Jomha hate on social media. Nothing. Even after the catastrophic Cancer Crew reunion on Cold Ones I don't recall them standing up for Ian and backing up their friend.

Just letting everybody drag him in the comments.
maybe that's the reason why Ian didn't go to Max's wedding? He doesn't feel a connection to them anymore and he would be embarrassingly out of place?
(still would have been better optics if he went, they did the whole reenactment of the Cancer Crew photos... with Ian missing. Even Jouji made time.)
After the Cancer Crew dissolved I don't think that much of communication and meet ups happened.
I also think from Chad, Max and George only Max was/still friends with him.
Pretty sure Chad doesn't really like him that much, I saw some tensions from the Cold Ones episode between them.
As of Max, who knows, there is a rumor that his wife hates Anisa so...
Also note that Ethan and Hila called by their detractors as "baby killers, child and dog abusers" now,
while the Jomhas mostly called "cuck and OF whore" and let's be real these are far less intensive and hurtful attacks.
It's bizarre in itself when your supposed friends reposting people and agreeing with them calling you a monster.
I can understand their frustration and disappointment towards Ian and Anisa.
Although it's kinda deserved as Ethan and Hila were also shitty to other creators in similar ways.
Ethan and Hila probably extended their "grace" and "friendship" to the Jomhas because the brand of IDubbbz was initially worth it, even at the beginning of Ian's decline in popularity, and most notably because the Jomhas followed in lock-step with whatever the Kleins managed to convince them was the politically and morally correct way to go about things. Because of their aligned ideology, the cost of aligning with the Jomhas continued to be worth it, despite the ever increasing decline in popularity that the brand of IDubbbz suffered.
I have to disagree at some extent. I don't think Ian had that much of a "brand strength" since 2022.
Ian is noticeably on the steep decline, aside his breadtube videos most of his videos barely reach above 200k,
the podcast is terrible, everything he does is forced, uncreative and tryhard.
I also believe the Kleins do in fact considered the Jomhas as friends.
I believe Ethan is truly saddened by the Jomhas sneaky snakiness.
I don't think the Kleins got too much from idubbbz's "clout"
and I'm pretty sure idubbbz current main audiance were the H3h3 fans.
Ian is turned himself into a "nostalgia youtuber" in a sense that most people only occasionally check on him
and watch his old content for nostalgia. Nobody really watch him for his new "content".
He is more on the side of the scale with Freddie Wong in that sense, than like Turkey Tom for example.
Although the Kleins deserves their own "medicine", but it doesn't make it less awful that the Jomhas do in fact were their friends.
Ethan blasted creators with much more bigger clout and fan base like penguinz0.
