On one hand, I feel sort of bad for Tophia, losing people close to you - even if your relationship is rocky with them, is pretty harsh to deal with. I guess I'm speaking from the perspective of having lost one of the most important people to me in Summer of '24, and so I can sort of sympathize. Albeit it wasn't family in my case.

Tricare only covers up to age 23 through the Young Adult program. Unless they’re considered a special needs case where they need to live at home (Toph is retarded but not that kind lol)

Unless NM has a work requirement for Medicaid I don’t see why she couldn’t qualify for it. They will even back pay whatever medical bills she’s had over a certain number of months. There are also free/low cost programs where she can get therapy, if any of them exist there
