Why is shelter for the entire family on Tophia’s shoulders? Everyone focuses on some motel room, but the family had a HUD apartment for years and were only evicted because Papachu and Mamachu decided they didn’t need to pay rent for a few years. Do you know how hard it is to evict disabled people from HUD apartments? Papa and Mamachu are incredible fuck-ups on every conceivable level.

After they lost actual housing they were forced to live in shady pay by week/month hotels for crackheads, that I guess Tophia helped subsidize with her TT bucks.

They got tossed from an actual three bedroom apartment because their parents are legit retards. The entire family had relied on Papachus SSI check, welfare and Brotherchu’s paychecks for years. TT was probably the first time Tophia ever earned money in her entire life.

The Slydells were living in cars because their parents are low IQ, mentally ill retards. Neither Tophia nor brotherchu were raised to know how to function, they are basically feral. Schizo dad is in and out of jail, he’s teething and thinks he owns a bank…and this was the man Mamachu thought was excellent husband material. I would be shocked if the kids weren’t regularly in state custody throughout her childhood and if they weren’t that’s even worse.

The fact the two adult kids could function at all, given who raised them, is actually somewhat impressive. Brotherchu managed to work at gas stations, Tophia turned her hideous mug and life into TikTok $$. Tophia took care of her invalid mom while schizo dad cycled in and out of jail.

Everyone lost their minds that Tophia spent her TikTok $$ going to a comic con, but she took her mom and brother with her. She’s dumb af but cared about her family. The couple hundred she spent on everyone to go to a dumbass ComicCon is going to be a really happy, warm memory of something she managed to do for them before they were gunned down sleeping in a church parking lot.

Tophia had one of the worst hands in life imaginable dealt to her for a child in the west, but people are enraged she wasn’t budgeting her meager TikTok checks into shelter and wholesome hot plate meals for her family. This low IQ girl was raised in poverty and chaos but should magically transform into a paragon of good decision making once people online started badgering her with abuse and life hacks. Lmao.

No, they can’t force anything unless she’s severely mentally disabled and the state petitions to be her guardian. If she survives the hospital Medicaid will put her into an assisted living facility while she recovers. After she’s deemed “fixed” she can walk out if she chooses or more likely be booted out the door.

A caseworker will have her as an indigent, disabled woman so she might get a spot at a state-run care home depending on how bad off she is. They are grim af but it’s a bed, indoor plumbing and 3 meals a day. However I don’t think Mamachu, if she’s not brain damaged or a vegetable, will stay anywhere without Tophia, whether that’s a car, hotel room, or apartment.

The upside of this horror might be Mamachu now qualifies for disabled/senior housing and Tophia could live there as her aide. How old is Mamachu? I know she looks ancient but she’s probably not old enough to qualify stuff to help seniors, so her only hope is to be declared disabled. Maybe she can start getting her own SSI check just like Papachu.

The best case scenario is some case worker takes pity on Tophia and mom and helps them get prioritized for a disabled HUD apartment. Idk much about Albuquerque but I’d bet the waitlist for HUD housing is long af given how poor some areas are. Mamachu being sick to begin with, and now probably has injuries that will leave her disabled, might help her get priority housing. But she is still married to Papachu and they did get evicted from a HUD apt a few years ago, so that might be a big problem. The Slydell’s history with Albuquerque social services is probably a nightmare and that could cause major problems in what they can do for her now. Divorcing Papachu would probably help the situation.

Albuquerque had one of the top three highest property crime rates in 2024, coming in 3rd place behind Memphis and Seattle. I found more recent compiled information on crime from 2024 here and here on pages for international travelers.

I can tell you from personal experience that the city has mixed zoning and there are shitty areas next to good areas through the city. The Slydells were in bad company. Homeless people in the Southwest end up looking like drifters from the wild west.

Sleeping in a car in Albuquerque is not a good idea. If you make the car look empty so people won't rob you, they will try to break into the car because it's unattended. If you make your presence obvious, you'll get attacked because you're easy prey.

"Stacking up at zero" is what I've always heard it called. When too many people do it, it generally is followed by social collapse or violent change of power like the 1917 Russian Revolution. The primary metric to find it is wealth inequality, but it bleeds into mental health, quality of life, etc.

Her upbringing is probably the biggest factor, because even tards can be taught to make good choices if they are guided and raised properly, which Tophia certainly wasn’t. In fact Tophia was raised to make all the worst choices and had Papachu and Mamachu as role models. She never saw either parent hold a job or go to work. Attending school, and social workers, might have been her only extended exposure to employed adults. They probably seemed like alien creatures to her.

Her alog audience won’t be satisfied until Tophia admits she is an ugly, fat, poor, disgusting, stinky, worthless woman that should have a job cleaning toilets to take care of her retard parents and never order DoorDash. She shouldn’t be allowed on TT until she accepts these facts and gets a real job. Until then they label her a pedo and animal abuser to try and rationalize all the insane hatred. Tophia’s literal hotel room cleaner decided to try and get some TT bucks and fame just by cleaning up her stinky room. Without TT Tophia would just be another tragic, indigent victim of street violence this morning. There’s already several big YT’s looking into how to monetize Tophia charity and redemption arc right now. Being nice to Tophia will be the new content game for awhile.

Brotherchu’s murder might result in Tophia getting a legit 15 minutes of fame. All the e-fame whores and hideous clout chasers are going to be so nice to her for a few weeks. I hope Tophia can milk these vapid bottom feeders for every drop possible. Hell, get herself a reality show like the Slaton sisters.

I actually did have a small amount of pity for Tophia and her brother at one point, they literally had no chance to be normal with genetics from those 2 freak ass parents. Always destined to end up ugly and retarded to some capacity. But there are ugly and retarded people who make the best of their situation; Tophia did not.

I can't help but feel a tiny bit sad. But at the same time this could have been easily prevented. In a way, Tophia could have protected her family if she'd gotten a job or even found some way to monetize her fame to pay for rent. They even had a hotel but got kicked out for literally being too disgusting and obnoxious. At the end of the day, they could have avoided having to live in the car. But I guess they were literally just too mentally challenged to know the risks of their own choices.

I've seen bums who lost both feet to frostbite end up back on the street because they insisted on going back and refused intake housing or medical assistance.
