I’ve been hearing “China’s going to collapse in the near future!” for twenty years now. Between the demographic pyramid, the reliance on coal, the reliance on imported foodstuffs, the Three Gorges Dam and flooding, their buildings being cardboard, their economy being propped up by fake property transactions, their economy being propped up on debased or fraudulent metals, etc. I’ve heard it all. I just don’t believe this anymore. Sure, in a hot war the destruction of the dam and the stopping of imports could have major repercussions. But I don’t believe in a natural China collapse which is always just on the horizon. I think that’s an excuse by American elites to justify continually empowering China and destroying the American economy under the guise that it’s no big deal because they’re destined to fail anyways.
People want to predict the next big catastrophe but the truth is that you can’t pin it down and most events are slow and gradual. Part of why I think the economy of the world is fucked is because chinas one child policy and a lot of western investors put too many eggs in one basket.

I think that much of the idea that China will collapse naturally comes from this idea that they've got a billion plus people that need to be fed, housed, etc. They built all those cities with no one to live in them, I don't think China even knows how many people they have. There was some research that looked at the number of vaccine doses required for infants, as well as salt consumption, that just doesn't add up to the number of people that they claim to have. It's probably that corrupt provincial leaders have been lying for a century+ about their populations so that they can get increased funding from the national government.

China is so fucking fucked. Between China's failed central planning, India's failure to industrialize, and Pakistan's just absolute failure as a nation in general, one of these niggers is going to start a nuclear war.
It doesn't help that China and Pakistan are working together on each other's nuclear programs.

I remember how there was a big rush towards New Zealand, between the likes of Gabe Newell moving there and other elites making bunkers. Ditto for Hawaii, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico. While I don't know enough about China to say whether it'll actually fall from grace or inertia will carry it on (though their bugmen tendencies might win out over socioeconomic issues, environmental problems aside), their aggression and deep entrenchment into our political system makes the CCP a legitimate concern. The fact that elites are colluding with them, giving them intel and access to all sorts of systems, is a major, MAJOR problem and it's good that Trump recognizes how problematic, to put it lightly, China is in general.

There's too much going on right now. The glimpses we got into China are bad, yet no one can predict exactly what'll happen to it. I think besides Corona fucking up the elite's plans, the lockdowns revealed just how fragile the hyper-interconnected globohomo system is. Companies have been moving their outsourcing to Vietnam and other ASEAN countries, India (saar), and places like Mexico and Poland. China knows this, hence the Belt and Road initiative. They want to mimic Western colonialism to get Western advantages. They don't want to rely on just one place, they can't trust it, As far as the US is concerned, manufacturing should be one of our biggest priorities besides drilling etc. It's going to be a challenge, but we do have manufacturers here already and building those sectors up even more will help our economy become more sustainable, sustainable being the key word. China and US are suffering because of the line must go up mentality, albeit in different ways.

No seriously, I didn't fucking know this.
It's due to a 2005 trade law apparently.

I'm just dying laughing here because the Democrat base keeps insisting that the Dem politicians go scorched earth on everything, the politicians like Schumer see the trap and try to backpeddle, making them look weak, and the vote-blue-no-matter-who base is incensed with them for not fighting back.

They literally cannot win any more. They either go full tantrum, which makes at least 60% of the US look at them with even more disgust, or they go along with the plan and try to salvage a deal or two, which makes the 30% of their most fervent supporters look at them with disgust, and doesn't fool the original 60% at all. Any time a protest breaks out nowadays, Schumer must cry himself to sleep at night because it just makes the Dems look worse. I love to see it.
He knew that if they did shut down that it’d make it easier to fire everybody.

Breaking news: Anyone who didn't know that George Bush legally declared that champagne can't be made outside of the Champagne region of France is a moron.

That’s not the full picture, sadly. Seems it was part of some trade deal with the EU—France, mostly, trying to shield a piece of their culture beyond their borders. Honestly, I’m fine with that, so long as they don’t turn around and scoff at Americans doing the same for our own heritage—like, what, we can’t trademark bald eagles and apple pie next? I know plenty of local wineries whipping up some damn fine brut-style bubbly that’d make a Frenchman choke on his croissant, and they don’t need a fancy label to prove it. What gets me is the lack of nuance in all this—people acting like it’s black-and-white when there’s enough gray to make a nun blush at a moonshine still.

Okay, I'm just going to introduce a bill in Illinois to rename Champaign IL into Champagne Province, IL. Then I'll open a Champagne business there just to stick it to French uppity cocksuckers and George Bush can come stop me himself. We'll name all the bottles as Product of Champagne Province and simply not say whether they're product of US or France or make it in the tiniest print possible. Under the cork, maybe. Then we'll get some liquor vendor licenses and ship them all over the world. Mainly in France because fuck the French. I'm really willing to do whatever dumb idea we can think of at this point just to stick Eurocuck's noses in shit.

The whole thing is stupid. You can still make champagne (though I don't know why you'd want to since it's fucking gross and a waste of grapes) but can't label it as such, much like you can make a soda but can't call it Coca Cola. It's a little more complex than that, but it's not really a big deal. The US makes a crap ton of whisky, but we wouldn't call it Scotch. Just like other countries can make whisky, but can't call it Bourbon even if it otherwise meets the requirements to be labeled as such just because it wasn't produced in the US. Just label ours as "Bubbly" or any number of other synonyms people already use for champagne.

Who cares? I don't drink anymore, but cava was always better. I occasionally buy a non-alcoholic cava for special occasions.

Those HR Employees have bosses and it's as simple as me saying "We don't hire anyone from this campus anymore. We have too many Jewish employees."
1. you're acting like this isn't going to be rolled out to every college and 2. no one that works in HR follows the news 3. saying you have too many Jewish employees is the type of thing that will lead to you being fired.
After all, it's just a clump of cells
isn't it crazy how quickly the left backpedals on everything.
