So she's on Strattera, @clara, do your thing and tell us if this is good or not

I understand that your mom isn't amazingly stable either based on what's been posted here, but if you want to cultivate a healthy and affectionate relationship you have to do your part. Your resent to your mother is rarely far from the surface, I get it. I imagine we all do. You're still a kid, but hopefully later on you learn how to let that go. Do little things, text her that you hope she has a good day, remind her you love her, tell her about your day and ask her about hers. Reciprocate, don't just be a black hole. This woman is all that's standing between you and homeless poverty.

So Strattera(Atomoxetine) is a drug for ADHD. It mixes poorly with Abilify and can sometimes cause Irregular heart rhythm(pretty bad)

Watch for sudden dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, shortness of breath, or heart palpitations.

For every ChrisChan that can build elaborate fantasy worlds that help their brain process complex multilayer concepts, there is one that just has a blank black wall of nothingness.
I think the exact ratio is somewhere along the lines of: One autistic genius, 3 who insist that their word salad fantasy is real, 2 who will just stare blankly off into space when asked to be spontaneously creative

Fun fact about doctors, they don't always look up the interactions because those in and of themselves is a book thicker than the DSM. They let the pharmacists deal with that shit.

I'll do it for them.

Strattera isn't a stimulant, so at least whoever prescribed it to her was considerate of the fact that she's a schizo who needs to stay far away from stimulants. It doesn't interact with the Abilify outside of affecting heart rhythm, but that's rare and typically only happens if you have pre-existing cardiovascular issues.

It's not the most common interaction, but potentially fatal. So it's odd to me that they would pair them when there are half a dozen alternatives.

People with no inner monologue are extremely fascinating, if you want to go down a psych rabbit hole.
