Funny to see DSP suddenly care immensely about trolls in Kick chat and going on banning sprees, after mostly ignoring them for the past months. Thin skin King.

Regarding the whole taxes on tip, can anyone explain how that would work where hes at? Ive never dealt with it so its alien to me.

even if tips would no longer be taxable income that wouldn't cover the donations he gets, no matter how much he insists on calling them "tips"

Tips are likely only counted as cash tips or tips paid at a POS machine (i.e. credit card machine) in a store where the tip part can be entered by the customer.

DSP gets tips paid by PayPal and YouTube and shit so unless he's willing to take a decent amount of risk of getting fucked by the IRS then I don't know how it would exactly work. Presumably, his tax person might advise him to just declare all the tips and say they're tips and therefore he's not paying tax on them in the tax return.

But I'm not sure how exactly that works - can you actually declare things that you're not paying tax on? And if you can, what's the worst possible outcome that can happen? "these aren't legally tips, you need to pay tax"

But even if he gets away with it once or twice, I think they have up to 5 years to audit his taxes so they could call up later down the line and be like "nah you fucker, you owe us tax on all of this shit".

What I learned from the various DSP tax sagas is that the tax people can put together your tax return but you have to personally sign it and the responsibility is 100% yours. Even if the tax people make glaring mistakes, you can only legally go after them for the amount you paid for them to file the tax returns. And also what I learned is that DSP's "job/business" is so vague and cutting edge that the law doesn't really understand it, they could very easily turn around and say "fuck you, you have to pay taxes on these" years down the line.

Also an aside: I believe when people are talking about abolishing income tax it would only apply to people who earn under $150k each year. So it would be hilarious if it didn't even apply to DSP.

That's gonna be one hell of a pressure cooker. I think he'll snap after a while, da sektur vets like PPP and Warski won't let this content opportunity slip. They'll do to Phil what they did to dickers which is ironic in a funny way
