Sally's actually had to hide the rifle (and any other guns she or Ed own) from him because of that video (confirmed in a body cam video, but I couldn't tell you which one). He's probably too stupid to realize that it's still in the house somewhere. But thank God he didn't know where it was, otherwise Marty, Aware of Myself, or some innocent bystander could have had a very, very different interaction with him.
