When Danny's YouTube and Twitter were nuked, he easily could have come out and said "don't stick your dick in crazy, boys."
A lot of his problems could easily be solved if he was just a tad bit more judicious in handling them. If asked on religion, he could easily say "I'm searching for God in my own way." He could simply react to the weebs and animoo-related questions by saying that anime and weeb culture "isn't my cup of tea" and that he personally prefers American and French comics instead. Him acting like a chimp and needlessly demonizing things he doesn't like to promote things that he does like, or making excuses all over the place, is what gets his ass in trouble, and that just invites more attention than if he gives a short response to something.
If anything, our boy Danny would be cheering this bullshit on. It just goes further to show that the alliance between geeks and conservatives was only temporary. I can only hope we don't overcorrect and run back into the arms of the social justice left.
That might actually happen. The SJWs and the Left have conspicuously stopped persecuting anime and manga fans long enough to the point where the leftist online rags are now writing think-pieces about anime culture, and leftist reaction channels on Youtube have been doing reactions to anime series such as Death Note or Jujutsu Kaisen. It's now cool to be an anime nerd among leftists, while suspiciously, the Right has begun to persecute them.
The only fools here are the ones who'd think that the alliance between geeks and conservatives would last; people like Razorfist here. Yes, there are still parts of conservative America that persecute DnD groups. Yes, there are conservative Americans who freak out when a piece of fiction has things like magic or wizards. Yes, most conservatives see video-gamers as worthless, lazy slobs who should be put to work at a factory.

It's always been funny to me that Razorfist wants to unite his audience of Trump fans and gamers, when Trump's base is more than happy to blame video games for violence in real life to deflect blame from guns the moment some nutcase shoots up a school. The modern Right never truly sought to embrace geek culture; it had several chances to, but it did not. You don't see Trump's political party making an anime avatar the way the Papacy did, nor do you see him acknowledge that Gamergaters and other right-wing nerds support him over the Left because the Left persecuted their hobbies.
Razorfist suddenly turning puritan and attacking First Descendant for having tame fanservice that you can see at a beach should not have surprised us in the least. The conservatives want to go full puritan, and Razor has already put all his eggs on their Trump-shaped basket. If it means contradicting his previous positions on free speech, so be it. Even though he's defended games that were way more degenerate than First Descendant, such as Baldur's Gate 3, where you have gay sex, demon sex, sex with animals, things that would make First Descendant look like a puritan's paradise.
