Yeah, she's fucked. My stepdad had surgery to repair an MCL tear over a decade ago, and despite being a healthy, normal-weight, active guy, it was rough. His big motivation was to get back on the golf course, so he was about as compliant, and diligent with PT, as can be. He made an excellent recovery. But still, I was driving two hours each way every weekend to stay with them, catch up on housework, and give my mom a desperately-needed break.

I want to say I can't imagine what the recovery process would be like for an unhealthy, mostly-sedentary, 450-lb, Narcissist deathfat, but unfortunately I can.

Just posting to give more second hand confirmation that knee ligament surgeries are gruelling, painful, have very long recovery process, and your knee usually doesn’t return to normal - and that’s for a healthy weight person.

It also makes me sick how Tess is “Like single mom life! My baby’s taking such good care of me!” No, he shouldn’t have to. Eight year olds should be going to school, hanging out with friends, having some easy chores to learn responsibility.
