I wish Trump luck in this upcoming battle over the pardons. I have made my issues with several of the administration's decisions clear in this thread, both because I think its important to call things out as they happen and because I have an autistic impulse to interrupt the plan-truster echo chamber this thread often devolves into. But ultimately, he's the best shot we have and these are exactly the sorts of moves I'd like to see more of.
Picking fights like this that, if won, upset the established norms of our government and secure himself more power is exactly what he needs to be doing if he is serious about transforming this country. The way the country has been ran is not acceptable anymore, and incremental change is just another way of saying "slow death." America's favorite presidents have always boldly seized the power they needed to accomplish their agendas because Americans love winners and everyone hates losers. He just needs to maintain the momentum because every loss is an opportunity for things to stall out.
The possibility that a bunch of Biden-era ghouls will get hung out to dry is just icing on the cake.
