I was researching what a "smart city" is because I've never even heard of the term.

A "smart city" in Oklahoma, or anywhere, refers to a municipality that uses data analytics and internet-connected devices to improve services and operations, potentially leading to benefits like better resource management, reduced traffic, and improved public safety.

With that being said, what does a "smart city" have to do with anything related to the fires that spread in Oklahoma?

Gotta love Jack's stroked out brain. I hope he's an organ donor for science one day.

Like we needed more evidence of what a smug, evil asshole Jack is. He's found some tenuous link in his stroked out brain to say "smurt cities bad!" and is gleeful about people losing their homes, property, and in some cases lives. "Nicest guy on YouTube", everyone. And you know that if someone asked Jack to elaborate on this he'd do his usual thing of telling you to look it up.

It's almost comical how every time someone's house gets burned down, no matter who it was, Fatty can come up with some reason to find enjoyment in it. He is truly a miserable piece of shit.

It has to do with a conspiracy theory that the fires were intentionally started so the government can seize everyone's property and turn them into smart cities. The same theory was spread around during the fires in Hawaii

Jack thinks a Smart City would be like a smart home or something but it gets worse with people who confront him on his bullshit

All this shows is he's an evil man who delights in the pain of others. Possibly the most un-Christian Christian out there.

"The Electric State" is based on a series of dystopian paintings by a Swedish artist. Really good stuff showing a world that's gone to shit due to people plugged into some kind of VR reality and there's something about giant robots in the form of advertising mascots and stuff. It's very bleak and could be seen as a warning on how interconnected we are and the overabundance of social media.

The movie... is something else and just feels like a warmed up version of that dystopia. If you have a chance to read the actual book I recommend it. The artist has done other books in the same vein.

And of course Fatty wouldn't understand a word of it.

Jack is the type of false Christian that silently prays that God goes Old Testament on anything/one that he felt slighted by. Whether it be the government, some rando on twitter, the CEO of a company or the poor fuck thats waiting his table. If none of them go by what Jack feels is the appropriate behavior they should follow (which is usually catering to ONLY his needs) he has no problem seeing their downfall. He cant even be fucked to be the slightest sympathetic to the recent disasters because "theyre bad and wrong" and "he good and right" let alone be able to articulate and explain what is wrong about them and why he is right, he has no actual fucking clue hes just parroting whatever retards (like Charles and the clown church) repeat to him.

Fortunately Jack cant do shit and is essentially a prisoner to his selfish gluttony and screeches to the void online as if he had any actual influence or power. Hes only gotten worse with age both physically and mentally, hes harmless as much as he is helpless. If God actually cared about Jack he would of ended it after stroke one, or maybe after the second one once the realization hit that he was never gonna change. However Jack still keeps on going, getting worse and worse and displaying it for the world to see.

God truly does laugh

What a vile sack of shit. I hope his house burns down. I really mean it.
Why does he call himself a Christian and wears a cross? Do Christians laugh in glee when strangers lose their homes to wildfires, simply because the owners wanted a bit of lazy convenience with IOT devices? Did God declare IOT devices an abomination? What am I missing here?
So why was it okay for televangelists and megachurches to immediately jump on the television and personal mobile phone boom? Back when most people were sure this was all a giant fad and traditional media was better?
How about the rise of Internet grift right sphere, where traditional media was insisting their outlets were still better despite it collectively dying out? That was fine?

So it's not fine if someone wants a dumb IOT fridge and a smart driveway? How is this guy a Christian again? He's scum.

Jack thinks a Smart City would be like a smart home or something but it gets worse with people who confront him on his bullshit
He thinks those wildfires were intentionally set (by who) so the "traditional city" can be levelled and built into "smart cities".
This is so retarded it makes Infowars sound sane.
The LA wildfires burnt down rich neighbourhoods. Have Scalfatty ever visited these mcmansions? It's the definition of "smart", even the water tap might be IOT garbage.
Why is the retard who's using AI to make recipes and thumbnails bitching about IOT? He is the problem, and most problems have a solution.
Stroke, another, please.

Edit: grammar went to shit

Fatty is such a fucking retard, that while he uses siri and other AI bullshit all the time, he fails to realize he would actually be an ideal target for a number of IoT home controls that would make his life easier. But because he's retarded, anything he does is perfectly fine and christian but everyone else is some evil devil worshipper or something because they can control the lights from their phone, and there's public wifi in the downtown area for normal people.

I don't like IoT devices, but I have legitimate grievances with them. Jack is just a lazy faggot.
Most people don't like IoT devices because of how much data they gather without you knowing.

Even your smartphone is doing it. I remember once running out one night to Walgreens to get something and when I got home Google had a message on my phone suggesting that I give that Walgreens a review. I never took it out of my pocket but because it was pinging everything and the GPS was turned on they tracked my movements.

I rooted it the very next day, ripped out everything I didn't need and turned off all the stuff I could. The amount of information companies like Google have about you is scary when you think about it.

I'd love Jack to try and back up his hate of IoT devices with understanding of them. Imagine listening to Jack try to describe IP Subnetting on a livestream.
He's an Apple fanboy and Apple gathers so much information on him without him knowing it's crazy.

What's more unless you go the route of jailbreaking your devices you can't do shit with them anyway other than what Apple wants you to do.

Not only due to how much data they gather, but how much of a security nightmare they are. You can launch large DDoS attacks with infected devices.
