He gets away with the dislikeable hateable personality he has, because he only just stays in one room and streams videogames. Phil isn't some special case in society. There are plenty of people like Phil that are just bad people, they are just able to hide it easily because they don't stream themselves daily.
That is the only reason someone like him gets by and overlooked. There's a lesson there with what others have said that PP brought to attention, that until you actually follow him and actively keep up with the things he does and says, you won't understand it. I'd imagine you get ground zero treatment when you are directly dealing with him.
This goes back to when KC popped up and how many of the tourist just didn't get it and followed suit of "He just play videogame bad and low IQ". The fact he's not a freakshow doesn't deserve attention is some dismissing stuff for someone like Phil.
You really start to understand why someone can not like someone enough to call them a faggot and to kill themselves because it's easier to do than write 10k+ pages and 100's of hours of video on the guy.
Or you can just dismiss it like every other lazy asshole who wants to come into discussions about him.
