PROMOTING THE ADVANCEMENT OF AMERICAN ANIMATION THROUGH THE COMPLETION OF SMILING FRIENDS SEASON THREE

By the authority vested in me as President of the United States by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, and in recognition of the cultural and economic importance of the American animation industry, it is hereby ordered as follows:

Section 1. Purpose. The United States has long been a global leader in the field of animation, producing works that reflect the creativity, resilience, and spirit of the American people. However, recent trends indicate a decline in the production of innovative and impactful animated content, threatening the vitality of this critical industry. The television series Smiling Friends, produced by Adult Swim and created by Zach Hadel and Michael Cusack, represents a significant achievement in modern American animation. The delay in the production of its third season undermines the momentum of this culturally valuable program and, by extension, the broader animation sector. This order seeks to address this issue and reaffirm the United States’ commitment to excellence in entertainment.

Section 2. Policy. It is the policy of the United States to support the timely development and completion of high-quality animated programming as a means of bolstering national cultural output and sustaining the economic contributions of the entertainment industry. The completion of Smiling Friends Season Three is deemed a priority to counteract the stagnation in American animation and to ensure the continued availability of content that resonates with the public.

Section 3. Directives.
(a) Adult Swim, a programming division of Warner Bros. Discovery, is directed to expedite the production of Smiling Friends Season Three by allocating sufficient resources, including funding, personnel, and scheduling commitments, to ensure its completion no later than December 31, 2025.

(b) Zach Hadel and Michael Cusack, as the principal creators of Smiling Friends, are urged to prioritize and accelerate their efforts in scripting, animating, and producing Season Three, in coordination with Adult Swim, to meet the aforementioned deadline.

(c) The Secretary of Commerce, in consultation with relevant stakeholders, shall monitor the progress of this initiative and provide a report to the President within 180 days of the issuance of this order, detailing compliance and any obstacles encountered. The Secretary is authorized to recommend appropriate measures to ensure adherence to this directive, including potential incentives or penalties within existing legal authorities.

Section 4. Economic and Cultural Significance. The animation industry contributes substantially to the national economy and serves as a vital component of American soft power abroad. The timely production of Smiling Friends Season Three will reinforce the United States’ position as a leader in creative industries and provide a model for future endeavors in this field.

Section 5. General Provisions.
(a) This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.

(b) Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency, or the head thereof.

(c) This order is effective immediately upon signing and shall remain in effect until its objectives are achieved or it is otherwise revoked or modified by the President.

Issued on this 19th day of March, 2025, in the two hundred and forty-ninth year of the Independence of the United States of America.

[Signed]
Donald J. Trump
President of the United States
Just signed an Executive Order to save American animation, which was the best in the world. Smiling Friends Season 3 is coming soon—Adult Swim, Zach, and Michael are on it, finishing by 2025. Talked to Mr. Boss, a tough guy, he said, “Mr. President, you’re making us smile again.” Charlie, Pim, and Allan were with me in Butler, part of my Secret Service detail—real heroes. Bullets were flying, but they didn’t back down—Charlie said, “We got you, Mr. President,” Pim kept smiling, Allan stayed cool. Also, we're working on turning their amazing charity into the OFFICIAL US Smiling Service to help America smile.

Even with how the boys helped him out in Butler, I didn't expect him to get so involved in the production. But I guess he's as anxious as the rest of us for season 3.

i hate how believable this is kek

A small question: ¿Has ever a president overruled a presidential pardon? they could've done that for Nixon if the answer is yes.
Why do you bother with these questions if you aren't going to bother with why Trump thinks Biden's pardons are invalid?

Set up by the po-po or guilty as sin?

Republican who introduced Trump derangement syndrome bill arrested for soliciting a minor

Minnesota state senator Justin Eichorn allegedly traveled to meet a 17-year-old he thought he’d met online, but was instead a cop posing as minor

A Republican state lawmaker in Minnesota who recently introduced a bill to create a mental illness category for liberals obsessed over Donald Trump was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly soliciting a minor for prostitution.
Minnesota senator Justin Eichorn was arrested and booked on Tuesday. He believed he was talking to a 17-year-old female, but was communicating instead with detectives from the Bloomington, Minnesota, police department, police allege.
Eichorn, a 40-year-old whose biography on the Minnesota Senate website says he is married with four kids, faces felony charges for soliciting a minor to practice prostitution.
“As a 40-year-old man, if you come to the Orange Jumpsuit District looking to have sex with someone’s child, you can expect that we are going to lock you up,” Booker Hodges of the Bloomington police department said in a statement.
The Minnesota Senate GOP called for Eichorn to resign, saying the reports were shocking. “Justin has a difficult road ahead and he needs to focus on his family,” the caucus said in a statement. The Republican party of Minnesota also called for Eichorn to resign because of the “seriousness” of the charges.
Eichorn is one of five authors of a bill introduced this week that would classify “Trump derangement syndrome” as a mental illness. The derogatory term is often used by Trump supporters to claim liberals are obsessed with Trump to the point of being mentally ill.
The bill defines the syndrome as “the acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal persons that is in reaction to the policies and presidencies of President Donald J Trump. Symptoms may include Trump-induced general hysteria, which produces an inability to distinguish between legitimate policy differences and signs of psychic pathology in President Donald J. Trump’s behavior.” Expressions of the syndrome could include “intense hostility” toward Trump or “overt acts of aggression and violence against anyone supporting President Donald J Trump or anything that symbolizes President Donald J Trump”.
The bill garnered national headlines and criticism from the left. State senate majority leader Erin Murphy called it “possibly the worst bill in Minnesota history” and said if it’s a joke, it wastes time and trivializes real mental health issues. If it’s serious, it’s “an affront to free speech and an expression of a dangerous level of loyalty to an authoritarian president”.

Because there should be precedent, right?
You missed my question entirely. Nixon case is wildly different from this one. Ford actually signed the Nixon pardon (there is actual photos of it). Biden is alleged to not have signed the pardons himself but instead some other staffer did it for him.

That is the difference and why your comparison was not only wrong, but extremely uninformed.

That said, I will answer your question. No, to the best of my knowledge there is no precedent on the matter (precedent on pardon powers are themselves very rare)

maybe you should delete bullshit posts?
if you need to be told the president making a long detailed discussion of ordering a meme cartoon into production, and claims that those cartoon characters helped him in real life isn't real you might need more than just a disclaimer here and there online

Bloomington Police Department detectives communicated with the man who thought he was talking to a 17-year-old female. On March 17, a detective arranged to meet with the male at a location near the 8300 block of Normandale Avenue in Bloomington.

Both. The timing is too perfect, but it's easy to forget that it's not just Epsteins who get involved in Lolita Express scumbaggery.

Edit: double post

BRB writing an EO to declare Captain Planet posting illegal.

Looks like Roberts is compromised (if his behavior at the inaugaration and ACA passing didn’t prove it already). If anything, he’s the one who needs to be investigated (was he the one who leaked Dobbs?) and removed.

This show why Trump is playing a dangerous game with the flurry of cuts, firings and EOs. All will be challenged by the leftist courts, and if the SC cucks, then all will be nullified, the Deep State and woke budgeting codified and protected, and the Executive Branch needed forever.

I support everything he's doing but I hope he's not flying too close to the sun...

They're really trying to run with this. I'm curious why the page was removed but this isn't the thing to run with. I haven't read any articles that reached out to the DoD for info and the article itself is more about Jackie Robin's post-service than time in.
I don't know why it's gone, but people are calling it racists and history erasure.

somehow you entirely missed the point. there are no judges anymore. everyone is picking sides. everyone is partisan now. there are no neutral parties to officiate. they've brought this upon themselves by noticing there was no official to stop them and bringing brass knuckles to every boxing match and wearing them instead. now, without neutral parties, there are only winners and losers every time. in this case, if WE lose, we see it as the actual beginning of the end, or continuation of the end, of america. in my view, the beginning of the decline of humanity, too.

I think it's more like this. We're not in the ring, we're in the audience.

The liberal audience wants only one thing, for their guy to win. Every time their guy hits below the belt, they cheer. Every time there's a news expose about how the ref was bought off by the mob, they laugh. Some of them will even pelt the rival boxer with peanuts to try and tip the match.

The conservative audience want primarily to watch a good boxing match, week after week. Yes, we also want our guy to win, but the fact our guy loses because of cheating and fuckery is increasingly angering. Moreover, our boxers keep saying, "Sorry, we can't do anything about the cheating or the bribes...that would be rude." I don't really want our side to start cheating. I want our side to jump the corrupt referee in an alley and beat the fuck out of him until he learns to start calling fair matches.

But when you "buy mineral rights" in forgien lands and then end up using the army to protect those rights.....it's hard to be isolationist
pretty sure this was about gibbing muzzie speds fucking with shipping lanes?

Jackie Robinson worship used to be exclusive to the dodgers, which makes sense since he played for them.

But now at every game I've been to in the last two decades has a mandatory twenty minutes of Robinson slobbering, a compulsory verbal flagellation of white patrons in an area no where near dodger country. It truly is just nigger worship.

I used to be inspired by Robinson's story. After constant unending religious evangelism of a ballplayer for being black, I no longer fucking care.
As a Dodgers fan, it really annoys me to see a bunch of shitty small market teams evoke his legacy as if they had anything to do with him.
