So my memory here is kind of fucked so I'm going to lay out what I remember. The very first time Badbunny and Destiny/DGG interacted was late at night on Badbunny's stream. I do not remember if Destiny was watching her stream, or if Destiny raided her stream, or if offline DGG found her stream first before Destiny interacted with her. I legit do not remember, but I remember some of it as I watched it live. Regardless, the joke at the time was Badbunny was "female Destiny" (a meme that she would go on to resent even before the bridge burning), she came across as an intellectual type, played the saxophone, kind of edgy, etc. Destiny at some point talked to her and became streamer friends and would later date. There were some yikesy shit that Badbunny would say early on, she definitely had some right-wing views/humor. This included saying she could never date a black man, defending Opie & Anthony (shockjock humor with a decent amount of racism), using the f-slur and other edgy positions.
While she initially gave off an impression of being a smart person, more and more she would say some pretty stupid shit including when she debated Rem
after attacking him on twitter. Rem made her look incredibly out of her depth (for reference her philosophy was basically a scuffed version of Sam Harris', i.e. complete garbage). She then accuses anyone criticizing her as sexist (the sexism card is often played by her, including accusing MindwavesTV of being sexist for not inviting her on to his show). This is where I most clearly remember when Destiny, who was still a friend at the time,
couldn't defend her side in the debate. This is what I think really started to burn the bridge. Badbunny basically accused Destiny of being a shitty friend for not taking her side and for not removing "hate threads" on the subreddit, which were in reality pretty fair criticisms of her. There were a few users that seemed to really hate badbunny and I recall Destiny banning some of them for being too obsessive. Destiny felt he was fairly defending Badbunny but would still get criticized by her so his position was essentially 'why would I piss off my community defending Badbunny if she is still going to claim I'm not defending her?'
Destiny and Badbunny stopped being friends for the most part but they weren't total enemies, but as time went on more and more clips and discord logs came out and she really revealed herself as an incredibly toxic psuedo-intellectual. It wasn't just DGG that was critical of her, she became notorious on all of Twitch due to the generally
cringy nature of her stream where she unironically bullies viewers leading up to the
infamous "FIVE DOLLARS A MONTH" incident. At this point I don't know what happened exactly but next thing I know Badbunny somehow found herself in the lefty social club of Twitch and she even started to date Mike from [REDACTED]. This seemed to coincide when lefty socialism became trendy on twitch. Given that in her early content she never was an advocate for socialism and had an open disgust for dating black men and bisexuals, this was an obvious grift by Badbunny. If it isn't convincing enough,
someone leaked her discord logs where she even explicitly joked about grifting as a lefty (in addition to the mountains of bigoted slurs she used). She denies them as fake but curiously her entire Discord was locked-down, all moderators were removed, and was scrubbed clean of its comment history after these images were made public. Even if these were fake, these actions are not what an innocent person would do in response.
She would even accuse Destiny of being behind it.
In conclusion, she ingrained herself in with the lefties and given Destiny's lefty arc she uses the leftist anti-Destiny toolkit calling him fascist, sexist, and transphobe. At one point she even complained to her community on Discord that Destiny "abused her" but left the accusation so ambiguous that her community wasn't sure what she was implying. I think at some point someone asked if she was raped by Destiny and I think she clarified that it wasn't rape, but considering you still see people in LSF today frame this as Destiny being a rapist, what Badbunny did here was an incredibly malicious smear to even hint the possibility of physical abuse rather than just say she was emotionally hurt by Destiny.
There's so so so so much more cringe from Badbunny but I'll have to leave it at that
